Someone wanna explain to me the logic it not letting peolle use the bigger cups for free waters? Trying to save paper her so me and my wife share 1 cup but im bitched at because i filled 1 big one vs 2. So not only do I waste the water in the big cup I then sarcastically tell the lady do you want my cup back and im told to throw it away... so its a fucking waste either way? Theres no sign saying no big cups for water either.

It’s free water. You get what you get. There’s also water fountains around the park to drink as much as you want. Save your cup and refill it there? I don’t get complaining over the size of a free water cup tbh.
Im not complaining I CANT use tje big cup, im complaining theres no sign so im being told to just throw away paper cups that i already filled lol Thought BGW was all enviormental and shit? Let me keep the big cup and tell me I cant do that and move on. Why make me waste it?

BGW has water fillers that you can use to fill a large bottle, which is much more environmentally friendly than a large cup.

They did put signs out actually. I saw one in Marco Polo's on Friday night.

Not in Festhaus.

So lemme get this answer before I start a long karen rant about free water. Because the more I think about this throughout the day the logic in this is driving me insane.

If I pay for a soft drink can I not fill it up with water if I choose to vs a soda? I HAVE to get a smaller 2nd cup just for water?

Also @Nicole im not carrying around a big refillable all day. That's Busch problem, I care about the enviorment but not to the point im carrying a refillable all day. Busch is the one all enviormental so thats why I brought that up

Majority of restaurants do stuff like this. It ensures people aren't asking for a cup for water then filling it with sodas.
Ok but the lady didnt ask me anything about that. No "did you purchase a drink prior to the water" or something like that. If thats the case then whats stopping me from filling a big cup woth soda and ignoring the whole big cup with water in general? If were that concerned with someone stealing some drink then maybe they need to be asking for a recipt? If were gonna be this insane over a bigger cup with water then next time ill just fill a big cup with soda and just walk out and not even be questioned 🤷‍♂️

Maybe we should be utilizing our 8/$9 hour employes better then having 1 person stand around for hours telling people to not fill a 10 cent cup up with water. Go clean the bathroom, go sweep go do literally anything productive vs worrying about losing money on a cup. The whole 30min I was in there that seems to be all that employee did. Which is hilariously insane to me. Youre costing yourself 800x the cost of paying that employee to worry about a cup.

We talk about guest expierence in here all the time and well it deffiently ruined my mood when I thought I was doing good by not wasting an extra cup and to save myself from getting up to the fountain a few times. Next time ill just fill 5 small cups with water instead. :)

Again I know this a insane karen response to "free water" but I don't get behind having the most stupid logic behind something. I run a business myself so I like to find reason behind everything like that. Again if there was a sign there then all this would be pointless and I wouldn't be making this. I might actually do it again and tell them im gonna keep walking and we can talk to the supervisor. As far as im concerned I payed for the cup and water is free anyway. What are you going to do about it?

At least the park gives out decent sized cups for water and not the thimbles they give out at CF parks. I always have to ask for two cups at KD because the cups are shot glass sized

They should go the Hershey route and give out full sized cups to everyone.
I noticed that as carowinds. Small cups haha

Random aside but PGA of America made drinks and a meal free and unlimited at the PGA Championship with an upgraded ticket. Limits were one meal per 4 hours, one snack per 2 hours, one drink per hour.
