Yesterday I was getting on verbolten and my phone fell through the carts and onto or past the track. The attendant told me to fill out the lost form, which I did, and that they'd mail it to me if they found it. I spoke to guest services who couldn't say if they'd be able to find it. She said that if it wasn't found in 24-48 hours, I probably wouldn't get it back. It's been 24 hours, and find my iphone still says it's at verbolten. I'm wondering if maintenance even checks the start/end of the ride where the cars sit.
I would think so for safety reasons, but they didn't find it today, and I'm worried they won't find it at all. It still has battery for now, and I think it may be in working order. If anyone knows anything about the ride mechanics or if maintenance can check there, that would be great. I just need some honesty or reassurance that it will be retrieved. It's technically not lost to me, but I can't get it myself.

Maintenance usually walks the track nightly to look for lost items. There's a chance your phone fell in a spot that isn't easily accessible. What part of the ride is it lost in? Is it in the building or outside?

It is right where you get on when the ride is at a full stop. It's outside but in a covered area.

Maintenance does not do nightly article checks. Daily inspections do include a full inspection of the track and its components. If an article is found, it is picked up and placed in security control. If it is not seen, it will stay where it was lost until its eventually found. I do apologize

I'm not totally sure how BGW does it, but at KD, it was the rides team that would go walk the track and retrieve lost articles at night. Or it was at least at Dominator. I remember getting 3 hats and two phones one night. With it being under the station, I would guess the ride crew is not allowed down there which does complicate things. At White Water Canyon, when someone dropped a phone, we could lock the station belts off and go grab the phone which fell onto the belts or below with quite ease and be back running in a minute. It happens more than you think so don't feel too bad, and I hope you're able to get it back soon. It wouldn't hurt calling the park and letting them know. The morning and the night crew usually are different and probably didn't communicate with each other that there's a lost phone under the station.

Thanks. I don't know what number to call. I tried calling the generic number on the website, but it doesn't give any options for my situation. I even trier warning guest services about a phone under the starting mechanisms, but they gave me the same old spiel of "we don't look for 'lost items'".

Our pass was marked "On Hold" so I called the BG hotline #. I was on hold for over an hour and then an automated message came over and said I was being disconnected due to technical difficulties. Anyone have any advice on the "On Hold" status and how to remove it? We were planning to go today.

Usally it's your card for payment has expired. Ho it will come up at parking they will give you a one time comp on parking and direct you to the customer service buildings to get it fixed.

I believe you can just log into the portal, update the credit card, and make a payment to bring account current. It should reset and take off the hold, assuming that is the problem. A friend was able to do it all from his phone the day he went to the park.

Just as a heads up, I had this happen once (card expired, quick and easy fix at guest services), but parking made me pay to park, and guest services would only give it back in Busch bucks. Your mileage may vary on wether they'll comp parking or not.

UPDATE: We were on hold for 2 hours after being "next in the queue". We even called BGT, who answered, but claimed they couldn't help us and it was a BGW issue. True or not, BGW didn't seem to have anyone manning the phone line. We decided to risk it and drive to BGW and try our luck with Guest Services. Parking was comped but the line at Guest Services took 1.5 hr. It seemed everyone else tried calling today with no luck. I'm surprised Seaworld Corporate doesn't have a call center.

Anyway, the issue was that we paid and renewed for our passes via phone. According to the CS rep, if you renew a pass via phone and not the internet or app, it will always say On Hold. The ironic part is that we had to renew via phone because the website would freeze during payment processing. The CS rep gave us printed passes to use from now on. She mentioned BGW is in the process of updating the app and hopefully it would fix the issue but "don't hold your breath". Unreal.

Does busch ever show their yearly numbers on rides? Woukd really be curious whats most ridden. I would assume verbolten

I’d have to imagine it’s Apollo, though I don’t know for certain. I’d even take a guess that the other B&M’s probably have more ridership than Verbolten too.

Even with verbolten open almost year round? It's a good capacity ride and mkre for everyone than apollo or griffon

I’m sure somebody else could pitch in. I’m just thinking theoretical capacity. Have to remember that Bolt often uses 1 station, so 16 rides per train during those times.

I’m thinking the 36 seat capacity of Apollo, 32 of Alpengeist, and 30 of Griffon put out more capacity than when Bolt is running one station. Even with both stations running, I think that the B&M’s still win just due to how there is more room for error/slowdowns when loading 2 trains at once.
