I assume they're going to push "Tallest and Fastest Spinning Coaster in the World" hard. Shuttle isn't really marketable since it doesn't mean much to broad audiences. I imagine the world's first inverted launch is going to be a major, secondary marketing point too. I can already imagine all of the (likely very effective) engagement bait we'll see built on that element.
The shuttle label if anything makes the label weaker from a marketing standpoint, it doesn’t really do anything to make the ride seem any better than it is

I think we’re losing track of my original point that this exactly how they SHOULDN’T market it. I still think adding any label beyond “roller coaster” (shuttle, spinning, etc) to it sounds like a caveat and is less impressive than being honest and saying “3rd tallest in the world”. Enthusiasts won’t like it, but I guarantee the average park goer would not care beyond comparisons to Ka, which are gonna happen either way.

Now imagine a 400ft drop tower standing opposite to it from within the park, themed to the lighthouse being attacked by the monster... Six Flags could cook here.
I'm starting to think that's maybe what the vacant space to the left of BoF next to Superman will be for.

I know it’s been mentioned before already, but unless the angle is throwing off the perspective a bit, I have to imagine the 315 ft number that was thrown around as the current height has to be incorrect, due to how close the top of the structure is currently to the crane. Looks like it’s pretty much leveling out in the picture there based on the track connections on the supports.

That was a couple of days ago now. It's since built taller so don't go by that 315 figure looking at the pictures from the last 2-3 days. And there was some discussion whether that figure was the height that day of the tallest supports or where the track was further down the face of the structure at that time. The supports are probably closer to 340' or so today. Maybe even 360' if that 315' figure was referencing track progress. And if you look, there's another support going above the latest @MikeGS6789 posted where it looks like the track connections appear to level off atop the "nest." So there's more structure to go higher. We'll have to keep watching each day to see how everything comes together.

Honestly I thought about it a bit and this could potentially be a reason why corporate may opt to use the spinning label anyways. Sure, it sounds less impressive from a height perspective but advertising something mainly by it's height is going to make people compare it to ka mainly in height, which would always be a loosing battle with someone if it wasn't the size of Ka (or even TT2, which would allow PP to hold the height ranking Ka would be holding if it were still around). By calling it the "tallest spinning coaster," it at least signals to the target audience that it offers a different dynamic that Ka didn't and that maybe they didn't knock down a widely recognized coaster for a smaller, inferior version of the same thing. How much more value the spinning dynamic adds is up to you.

Also, less of what they should do and more of what they have done, they theoretically could have advertised Tormenta as, when it eventually opens, the 7th tallest coaster on earth, which was something I was slightly surprised to see when I looked up said rankings despite already knowing the height and that it was "the tallest/first giga dive." And Tormenta doesn't something as big (in more ways than one) as Ka to replace, though I guess Tormenta was never aiming for "top 5 tallest coasters in the world" to begin with lol.

I always imagined the tower track as a massive tentacle/serpent wrapping up a lighthouse (the supports), but if the entire thing is meant to be a sea monster’s head/neck, some giant glowing yellow eyes at the top looking towards the highway/waterpark/safari would be pretty kick ass

3rd tallest coaster in the world seems mediocre for marketing though. GP would be like you replaced the world’s tallest coaster with something shorter? It may be better to distance this coaster from being compared to KA in marketing. I agree tallest fastest spinning coaster first upside down launch.. maybe tallest outer bank? Longest inversion? If this has a twist at the top it could be the tallest inversion in the world..I would love that…would add so much to the experience if you are hanging upside down 300 ft high with only a lap bar. But this seems like wishful thinking with only 8 pieces left but who knows?
>Tallest Spinning Coaster
>Fastest Spinning Coaster
>Steepest Drop on a Spinning Coaster
>World’s First Upside-Down Launch
>World’s Fastest Coaster to feature an inversion
>World’s Longest Inversion

If I end up guessing every superlative correctly, I want $50.

If the flanges circled in green here are track mounts (which I am pretty sure are, given they are square), then I think we can see that we are nearing the top of the maximum track height. PXL_20260624_184504080 Mounts.jpg Edited because my uploaded picture missed one of the green circles. There may also be a hidden track connector hiding behind the yellow crane.

They said it would be one of the top 5 tallest coasters in the world right?

Falcon
Top thrill
Red force
Fury 325
Project purple

It’s obviously not beating Falcon or top thrill.

Red force is 367 feet
Fury 325 is 325 feet

I really think we’re landing track height on the middle of those 2. If it was going to be taller then red force they would’ve said one do the top 3 tallest don’t we think ? I’d really love for it to touch 368 or 369 and it’s perfectly feasible with what’s remaining and 5-6 feet of incline for each remaining track.. I just feel like it’s going to top around the 350 to 360 point

I don't see how that's possible. How could the launch be timed perfectly each time so that the train simply stops on a dime. There needs to be some more incline somewhere to account for burning off speed.

This. The track connectors we see so far are just the start of the drop and the very beginning of the spiral. The tallest support column pictured still isn't the peak of the structure and we don't have an outer-banked track connector visible on the front of the tower yet. If I had to guess, I'd say there's probably going to be another support atop what we see now with a track connector pretty close to the junction with the top of the existing highest support. Good chance that will be the final track height peak.
