but not sure there’s another park in the country that has received more TLC this year + a whole refresh and extended area of the park
Bar the impromptu area extension, I think a lot of the general cleanup and queue enhancements at over texas, in addition to Tormenta, are pretty sweet. Though, that was all kinda done in the "off season," I'm not sure how much if that's going to continue due to park management changes (Ie. lack of siebert), and either way I gotta imagine this year's gadv operations/maintenance obliterates over texas' lol.

That being said, say what you want about what direction gadv's taking, or how much of a direction it even is, or the pace of the direction, or where the trajectory was roughly a couple years ago (I do still think there's something to be said about just how many flats were eliminated in the last couple years + the lack of transport rides), but there being what seems like an actual direction (even if I imagine it was a bit "fire under the ass because of the 2025 season") is more than the impression I got in, say, 2022. And it's more than I could say for a lot of parks in the chain lol. I'm personally being very, very cautiously optimistic. As much as I can be for a multi-million dollar frankenstein corporation who is also in hot water lol

... and u have nothing to say about how his framing of that "negativity" and the eventual "opinion changing" has made it appeal more to you? you can easily imagine wasting so much of ur free time doing strictly positive pr for a ride you've never been on?
Yeah dude, I like coasters. I think its awesome watching one get built and being on site to see its construction. What is so complicated about that?

nothing, I guess it's just too complicated of a concept for you that somebody likes coasters but doesn't drool over a glorified flat ride after seeing one get built last year

I cannot wait to puke on this thing

and then both trains will go down 😍

I think northdetective is the greatest rage baiter I’ve ever seen , or at least I kind of hope that’s what’s happening at this point because the alternative is just kind of sad
Dude needs to touch grass.

Anyway, the spiral looks cool although I assume it wont go up beyond the 360 degree point because the last track piece is spineless.

We have like 8 new shows right now including a return of a parade, renovation of the boardwalk, improved theming with shoreline, a brand new holiday in the park experience, repaint of runaway train, etc all of these are great improvements that where long needed. The old sixflags probably would have not added all of these experiences that make the park much better overall. At least the new company seems to be on the right track of “rebuilding” GA and making it better overall. They do need to keep this momentum with renovation of each park section with shows, theming, presentation etc and start building high quality attractions each year. They have mentioned that shoreline and purple is just the start and no matter what your opinion is on purple etc look at it this way: we are in most consequential years in the parks history as it enters a new era which has not seen major investment since 2006. It’s definitely a exciting time right now

Yes the capacity will be mediocre,
Will it actually be any worse than Kingda Ka's? With the sliding station track, and considering that KK had no block zones, I imagine it will be fairly similar. In both cases, only one train could be running at a time.

Also, considering that KK seemed to break down every time I was waiting for it, this might actually be an improvement (assuming it doesn't also suffer frequent breakdowns.)
