GODDAMN, LOOK AT THAT LAUNCH TRACK

wait, would the stall still be a launch one? I remember reading it in the survey
Launchers out of the station, inverted stall, back down to ground level, another stretch of launchers, then the tower and climb up. Figure they worked out they need all three elements to pick up speed for a 400'-ish tower.

Maybe they should call this ride Time Traveler instead of the one at SDC. With all the launches it's gunna take 1.21 gigawatts of power to get going.

Find me riding this thing obsessively until I get a cycle in the front car where I'm spun to a 90°, leftward angle vs the direction of travel as I roll through that first inversion entry. That feeling is going to be nuts.

With the lines on this intentional bottleneck and the Rakshasa policy of not picking rows, I guess we'll see you in 2028 :(

Off-topic, but holy shit, we need to banish the inability to pick rows into the shadow realm. Completely asinine policy. Here in Virginia we have never done this shit and our coasters run just fine. When I go out to a place like Caro and am faced with forced row assignments, it low-key makes my blood boil.

Desperately hope Great Adventure isn't going to pull a Flash with this and do the same. Enraging to wait for an eternity only to be told you can't wait a little longer for your preferred row.

Ah right because if a ride in Illinois is preventing you from selecting rows it must be happening for this ride too. Too much excitement about the progress in this thread glad u brought us back to reality

Uh.... yes? Is it not one of the few large-scale new attractions SFEC has opened as a combined entity?

tbh I forgot this happened on Flash because I've only ridden it twice. Would have only been once but the employee who was grouping/assigning rows didn't send anyone to my row so I rerode. I definitely do hate being left at the mercy of an arbitrary employee decision (like the split in the queue of steel vengeance post-lockers and every wing coaster) but I kept that to myself for fear of villainizing said employees

It’s possible, but they have completely different park presidents and I would think corporate is not worrying about how a new ride loads the train. But on both of our ends this is purely speculation, nothing is confirmed. You have valid critiques of the park but sometimes it seems like you enjoy being negative about anything and everything you can possibly think of

Okay then Flash, the other shuttle coaster in the same park with the same president that opened last year with an assigned seating policy. Is that parallel enough to have an expectation?

Yeah I won’t lie that’s not a great sign. But still nothing is confirmed, that ride only has one train vs the 2 that this one will (and per the video above it looks like will be 5 cars per train) so the capacity will be a significant improvement over flash - but definitely still not great

Flash also has a tiny station that can't accommodate a line of people waiting for specific seats.

I think the scale of this project is really going to surprise people when they see it in person. This is going to be such a home run for the park, I just hope they theme it nicely. Also happy to see it on the Cedar Fair construction schedule, where track should be done before the season ends.

I wasn't expecting them to get this up so quickly, but then again, they have another coasters track/parts arriving any day now I'd assume.
I forgot that not all of Ragin’ Cajun is on site yet, and briefly wondered if my dream last night that they announced a tilt coaster named “Greeen” wasn’t actually a dream.
