It doesn't even have to be Chiapas-level. Something like Knott's transformation of their rapids with animated figures that have 1-2 movements would be incredible.

I also think that an easy way to make this ride incredible is with foliage tunnels, similar to the existing one that is over the pathway leading towards Carousel Park from Celebration Plaza.

Odds that Six Flags will drop their entire 2027 capex lineup that day....I mean didn't GAdv basically confirm they'll be announcing Project Purple in june? Watch it be the same day!
Yeah Great Adv did pretty much say there will be a June announcement for Phantom Spire, definitely sometime after Shoreline Pier opens and before construction on the tower resumes.

Holy shit! Here we go! I imagine those are for the stati
Also - are those footers for the final drop being poured? I can't tell. I think not due to the footers in the permit being long rectangles containing both support columns.

Well, turns out those were indeed for big drop footers! See below from Carowinds Fans Only.

You'll also notice footers being poured for the first drop.

Additionally, more gravel has been laid for the station and final splash down.

Lots of progress this week. You'll notice even more concrete footings, prep work for the final drop splashdown.

Press details sent out confirm the announcement date of June 8th, revealing that the project will be a "first of it's kind ride that will break 3 world records".

I'm dreaming of a gorgeous looking ride area with some surprises.

I'm looking forward to it! We already know it's a record breaking water ride. However, I'm interested to know who the designer is and especially looking forward to what ride comes next after this.

Yeah I’m mostly excited to see the theming since we basically already know the ride system, I’m not really a water ride guy but I’m hoping we’ll at least get a nice themed land out of this.
