The theming on this looks phenomenal! So many 3d figures, and many moving figures and props! So happy to see the detailed theming work the chain is doing between this and Werewolf Gorge!

I’m excited for this, and I like how they incorporated a lot of the motifs from the Carowinds Mine Ride concept that never ended up getting built.

Did we get any clarification on how the new area will connect to the rest of the park? Will you enter where Scrambler/Kaleidoscope used to be? Or will it be by Fury? Both? And is Timber Hallow being used as the area name?

This ride looks incredible! I’m not a fan of water rides but I would ride this in a heartbeat.

The press release said the entrance is by Fury:
"Construction is currently underway. Rip Roarin’ Falls will be located on the former site of Rip Roarin’ Rapids, a water ride retired in 2019. The ride’s loading station, specially designed to increase rider capacity and reduce wait times, is accessible through the Thrill Zone section of the park near Fury 325. The minimum height requirement is 35 inches when accompanied by a guest 16 years or older and 41 inches when unaccompanied."

Was hoping they would go with the full path that connects to Fury's entrance plaza.

^^That's a big missed opportunity imo and is kinda depressing. There's a lot of potential for a "backwoods" area of the park that features this ride as well as a restaurant and maybe a smaller flat ride or 2 (think flying canoes at Canada's Wonderland) but instead it'll just be part of Thrill Zone. Kinda hoping this is a 2 phase area and 2028 is when we see the pathway extended with a new restaurant and maybe a smaller ride or 2 to compliment the area.

The presentation on this is fantastic for Six Flags, and if the final product matches the concept art it might be one of the few regional park water rides worthy of a detour. Regardless, a great fit for the park and hopefully an indicator that attractions like this will be considered at some of the other parks lacking in water attraction options.

They need a flume and it looks like it’s going to be a solid ride. It’s nice that it’s so long.

Hopefully the final product has that much water around it. They have removed a lot of water from the park over the years.

The ride is themed. However, this theme would be appropriate in a frontier or rural themed area.

The park made a lot of strides to turn areas that Paramount destroyed into cohesive themed areas. New County Fair, Blue Ridge Junction and Aeronautica.

I wish they would give the same attention to the front half of the park as that entire area is not themed. Thunder Road, Celebration Plaza, Carrousel Park and Action Zone are pretty generic.

cool ride, but will have a forever line. 2 track transfers will slow this to a crawl. The reverse drop is nice but its gonna cost in wait times.
