So is the leading rumor a dark ride/exhibit? Because this sounds like a dark ride similar to empire of the penguin. I also hope they leave some room for a pathway to the rest of the parking lot in case they ever decide to expand into more of the lot. I am hoping it's a dark ride. Even if it sucks, seaworld needs some more fully indoor attractions. An indoor coaster would be cool too.

I just don't see them building a dark ride when they can't maintain what they've got...

My money is on a Vekoma tilt coaster.

Following the 2025 debut of Expedition Odyssey, SeaWorld Orlando is pushing the boundaries of family thrills once again.
I don’t think this is the endorsement they think it is.

In all seriousness though, on paper, a dark ride is exactly what SWO needs. The execution is obviously a huge question mark, but I’m glad they’ve gotten out of their obsession with just building coaster after coaster.

Though this is more than likely just coincidence, I noticed that the concept for this ride, and it's location is very similar to a proposed ride from the blue sky expansion concept for the resort proposed in 2017. It is obviously very different, but it seems like this is a sort of revival of that idea. IMG_7385.jpeg

Dear Jesus,

I know I don’t usually pray, but I have a request. If I could experience a dark ride featuring animatronic Giant Isopods, I’ll devote the rest of my life for you.

Amen
