Anyone else see SWO adding a launched wing at some point? There's only two in the US, zero wings in Florida. I don't want them to add that as the park would have SIX B&Ms if they did that. But I could easily see them going that route.
i think it'd be cool but im so over b&m. ive been begging for a dark ride forever. i know they have big plans for the kraken plot idk what kind of unique model they'd wanna put there tho

I got curious about this and looked into the square footage side of things. Assuming the 41,000 square feet part is accurate, what if we see Vekoma working on this project? The Super Boomerang only takes up a 22,000 square foot plot of land, leaving ample space, maybe even for a couple flats to join in the party maybe? Or maybe it’s a family coaster model—Lightning at Furuvik occupies around 60,000 square feet. Could possibly be a junior coaster—Vekoma’s Horus model (Midnight Flyer) clocks in at 24.37k square feet, as well as the dueling family boomerang clocking in around 50k, if it were to go over that limit. I feel like SeaWorld specifically would be a great park to recieve a modern Vekoma.

How big is Journey to Atlantis? The demo permits align with the queue getting demoed for a better one so….

Edit: I’m 90% sure this is JTA, the building is 25,000 sqft not including the queue or plaza

Have also heard that a few education related spaces are on the chopping block going along with this

I can't say for sure yet whether or not what I've seen is related to this permit, but, judging by non-public evidence I've seen, SWO is almost certainly working on something for this area:

The potential development area could extend a bit north and west as well. The image above is a conservative read of what I've seen.

Some of the comments from the county to the previous rounds of applications reference work in the parking lot, which is next to the site being discussed here, so it would make sense for it not to be Atlantis.

It would also be quite late to just begin the surveying process about a 2026 addition in 2025. I could well be wrong but since Atlantis was just recently on the survey and these things take years to approve and plan, it would seem that 2027 might be the earliest we see that overhaul. Just my non-expert thoughts though.

Could this be an expansion to Discovery Cove past the Grand Reef? PGAV has helped with the creation of Discovery Cove and more recently the Grand Reef in 2011.

There may be something Discovery Cove in the works, but this—Project Neptune—is definitely a SWO project from what I can gather.
