They have an invert right now, but how long are we expecting Batman to last at this park? Both an invert and a flyer would be redundant in this park, so I hope it's neither (as much as I love Vekoma).
IMO it’s two really different ride experiences so I wouldn’t call it redundant. Both an invert and a flyer would be redundant in this park, so I hope it's neither (as much as I love Vekoma).
Magic Mountain also had a Quasi Möbius roller coaster and a Premier Rides Multi-Launch roller Coaster, yet they still built West Coast Racers- “redundant coasters” are no stranger to Magic Mountain. Both an invert and a flyer would be redundant in this park, so I hope it's neither (as much as I love Vekoma).

Part of me thinks this got pushed to 2026, cause we haven’t seen any form of teasing for this at allRinging in--hopefully we get the announcement this week! With other SF parks getting announcements; it'd be odd if they held off on SFMM's again.
Assuming this is the case, I wonder if they pushed the project to 2026 for two reasons: First, to compete with Universal’s Fast and Furious Coaster down the road, and second, as Zachary mentioned, to give Magic Mountain ample time to construct and test this innovative prototype coaster.Maybe it has been delayed to 2026 now...? Especially if these novel, prototype, suspended motorbike coaster rumors are true, it probably doesn't make sense to rush it. That said, it does seem like they want to start work on it soon so...?
Very interesting puzzle.
I don’t mind tbh. Gives you something to see when you wake up and check your phoneI really wished with the merger they would knock it off with the 5am EST ride announcements TBH.
I assume Flash and Georgia SurferWe know all of these should be counted in the 7 as they're all specifically named coasters in the press release:
- AlpenFury
- Quantum Accelerator
- Racing Railway
- Rapterra
- Wrath of Rakshasa
