Considering it says that it is first in North America, my first prediction of a Tilt Coaster is not valid. An axis would be cool, although I have a feeling that they may want to add a more tested and proven concept. In that case, a Multi Dimension Coaster would be really nice. Another prediction would be a Intamin Hot Racer as it could be advertised as the first and only launched single rail coaster outside of Australia and Europe. Finally, an Infinity Coaster similar to the Smiler would fit perfectly in this plot.
Magic mountain already has a raptor and Knott’s has an infinity
It would be somewhat different compared to Tatsu if it’s a multi-launch, especially if it’s that Glider model that was brought up a few pages back.

They could make the Hot racer different enough.
Also, the Smiler is much more different than Hangtime. Plus, if it had a launch, it wouldn't even be similar apart from it's the same model.
I'd imagine a lot of parks are wary of most S&S coasters. Between the unreliable air launches, Gale Force needing to be completely rebuilt, and whatever's going on with Steel Curtain, I'm not sure I'd buy a new prototype from them.

We’ve seen a shift towards family rides in the industry, and the thrill rides that have been very popular parks are proven models with good capacities like Lsm launches, RMC single Rails, Dive Coasters. As unfortunate as it is, parks do not want to take the risk of something new and boundary pushing because of the potential costs as well as issues operationally.
As sad as it is to say, the axis has likely come up at the wrong place in the wrong time. I think there is a good chance it becomes the next RMC T-Rex sadly

Probably not gonna be hearing much of these until the entire indoor park/entertainment venue opens up.
It could be parks are waiting to see how this one turns out. Another thing, i looked on the website, and apparently the default capacity with the layout on the brochure is 685 per hour, which is ROUGH. Another thing i realized: so many parks have 4d free spins, that I imagine that they see that they dont need an axis, as they already have a more reliable coaster with the same gimmick from the same company. In my mind maybe a case like the T-Rex where they cannibalize their own market. What i noticed also is that the axis is also starting to be marketed as availible to be a family coaster on the website. The layouts on the main ride page also look pretty tame-ish.
I do still have hope that one will come to america, but if im being completely honest, it will probably be a bigger sucessor to the bog bad wolf rather than X2. I think a family axis is more possible than a thrilling one unfortunately. But id be fine as long as one gets built. Would love to hear the thoughts of others.
EDIT: The second layout appears to be the thrilling one from the reveal video. I stand corrected. My point still stands tho.

I still wouldn’t put my money on an Axis. I’m still betting on something Vekoma
The Hot Racer is a good example relevant to the Axis. It was 2 years from product introduction to an opening, 2.5 years before a second one opened and one is under construction for next year. I'd wait to try the finished product right now.

If SF are still buying cancelled Vekoma projects, there is that SBNO Firestorm in China that they could build. Another option could be that they remove Superman which is currently SBNO and add a huge coaster like a Vekoma Hyper or Intamin Mega.
That’s not a cancelled project if it got built. Which it did. Also I doubt they would get it anyways, because where would they put it?

It's been SBNO since 2017 so it might as well be a cancelled project. They could also probably make room for it around where the Golden Bear Theater was.

Okay I just saw that on the Intamin website, the Family LSM Coaster has at the bottom of the page, a to be announced link. Now although this link leads nowhere, could this be SFMM next coaster. What do you guys think?
I don't think there's any reason to believe Cedar Fair Six Flags is looking at new projects with Intamin at the moment. Rumors have heavily pointed towards Vekoma and I think until there's some other indicator, Vekoma seems like the safest bet right now.
