The station looks awesome right now with the screens and all, but I really wish they could've given it that paint job and totally different feel that was present in the concept art. Idk why - budget cuts, rushed opening - but with only 3 days left until this thing is open I'm a little disappointed.

If I remember correctly, BBW: TWR still needed to add theming elements among other things after previews/opening day happened. So, I guess Verbolten will do the same thing as well.

Have this from multiple sources now so I can definitely confirm.

Timeline is TIGHT. Looking like it may be another Wolf's Revenge-style rush to the finish with work continuing until the eve of planned previews.

The current plan is to do a media event sometime in mid to late June (which of course defeats the purpose of getting news coverage if the ride will have already been open for weeks beforehand).

Speaking from experience, this happens way too often at non-Disney and Universal parks, and SeaWorld/Busch parks in particular, where media events are announced late and then quickly canceled because the park realizes it needs every last second to get the ride open.

Yes, it is officially canceled. I don't make things up.

It's not exactly news that matters to a lot of people, especially if the grand opening is still going ahead as scheduled.

I personally called off my travel plans altogether because I wasn't going to risk the trip if there's any significant likelihood of the ride being unavailable this weekend.
