When they canceled Media Day but kept the VIP event on the books, I wondered if maybe it was an issue with the recording piece, but it really just seems like the ride isn't operational. Will they pull the plug early enough to account for driving time tomorrow, knowing that people will be traveling just for this? Are they just going to work all night to try to resolve it? Really trapped in limbo here.

Happy Verboltening to everyone who makes it out today! I look forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts (I’ll share mine tonight) and really appreciate everyone who made this project super fun to keep up with.

No one is leaving the line—up front at least. Spirits are high, weather is good. No idea how far the line stretches down the bridge at this point or if the reaction is different back there, but up here it seems jovial.

Damn, there was a really bad accident on 95 South in NoVa that is still snarling traffic (RIP to the victims), but still hoping to make it down after picking up my daughter from her early dismissal since the Express Lanes will be open. Wouldn’t arrive at BGW until 4 at the earliest so hopefully there’s an update before then.
