Welcome back... the ride opens May 30, yes. Member previews on May 29. Which also happens to be a Music in the Parks day, so crowds will be very high with the combination of the very hyped overhaul and the school groups.

gentlemen it is time to play another round of are they being genuine or are they trolling I give you exhibit AWhile I see the point that Kevin doesn’t always show enthusiasm through his emotion, his enthusiasm is shown through the commitment of the projects and the park he oversees as far as the love he shows in the park. Wouldn’t trade Kevin for anyone else for BGW leadership currently. He seems to get the nostalgia and fight for this park!
It's not. It's deranged.
The park president everyone should want is someone who can confidently and steadily navigate a wide array of often conflicting pulls. No one is 100% happy all the time, but everyone gets enough that they stay tuned-in and visiting. From what I can tell looking at the results, Kevin is delivering.
Yeah you’re right. Sorry if that was harsh. I loved the original and it’s been hard seeing it change but I need to ride the new version. I’m just excited to sit in those seats again and heck I’ve bought a ton of Verbolten stuff for this occasion. Also been having fun making theories for this new ride and such. I’m ready to brave the 7 hour waits

Yeah Tampa is a mess. They charge you lockers to ride Gwazi, I’ve seen fights in the lines, and I heard the parks getting run down. Thankful BGW is my home park
I went to Tampa once in the late 90's. It was surreal to see all the similar buildings and rides in a different setting, but even then it didn't compare to the niceness of Williamsburg. So, if I was in the area I would for sure use my pass to visit again, but I'm not going just to go.
As far as Verbolten I am very excited. I can't go Friday and Saturday sounds crazy so I'm going Sunday the 31st. Will get there before opening and hopefully I'll get to the back of the park as fast as I can (I'm 48 and I busted my right leg running marathons in my youth) so I can ride semi early.

Looks like the original decorative lights that were supposed to be on the sign got budget cut, as well as the new ones that were supposed to go on the locker building, opens in a week and I haven’t seen them installed yet
Yeah, a TON of the plans have been changed during the course of the overhaul. Things have shown up that weren't present in the docs and a bunch of things from the docs don't seem to be going in. Everything still looks great to be clear—it seems like the overhaul has received the full, anticipated level of attention and care, the details have just shifted around a lot. Will be interesting to see what happens in this final week sprint.
Has the entrance sign been jazzed up at all? Or does it still look like a bent piece of metal.
Media preview now confirmed for May 28, so expect plenty from content creators that day.
