All of Shoreline has been excellent and this is just a perfect entrance sign. Kudos to the park for bringing this together last minute by all accounts.

... which sort of makes this angle so much funnier than it needs to be, with 70% of the background being the out of place Superman Really hoping long term they do something about it. SP is a great vibe and standard of theming, and the middle of that midway really should have something to carry that atmosphere to the other side.

It's a really nice sign, but I personally would have preferred an archway sign instead. Something like this but using the Shoreline Pier aesthetic.

I love boardwalk arches. Perhaps the team at Great Adventure will make a larger boardwalk arch at the entrance the entire area down by the games near the carousel or in between the big tents. (Near where they put the Fright Fest Arch for Carn-Evil)

I go to Ocean City Maryland every summer and I am planning to go to Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags Fiesta Texas for the first time this winter. So I'll finally get to see the Fiesta Bay Boardwalk arch in person too!

During the ARCM live stream he showed the new Shoreline Pier sign.

reminds me of the old fantasy forest sign that was on the right side of fantasy forest until that side got replaced by adventure alley

That’s what should go where green lantern is if they don’t put a coaster there (and heck even if they do honestly). Give shoreline pier a visual buffer to the parking lot and return some of that vegetation they keep losing

Things that are "out of place" is standard fare for boardwalks. If Superman is going too far, they could retheme it to a haunted dark ride, Ripley's Believe it or Not, an aquarium or putt-putt, or a giant open air vape shop.

I think ur really on to something with the vape shop... something about soaring thru the clouds... custom cutoff tees in the gift shop... incense... I can smell it now

Heck yeah! I still wish this was an arch, but that looks great nonetheless.

I definitely think it would be a great way to separate the area, and with it being so commonplace on piers I don't necessarily think it would be out of the question.
