I love how its referenced the time six flags great adventure had a dinosaur attraction back in 2021 & the fact pirates already had a area in the park called lakefront

I’ll be riding it tomorrow during the media event. I’ll be sure to report back but I am not counting it as a new credit since I did ride it as Ragin Cajun.
Potentially hot take: If clones count as new credits, relocations should too. Location and theming play into the overall experience.

My main argument against that is fairground coasters get relocated after every single location they run at. By that logic you could potentially be counting the same coaster as 12 different credits if you rode it across different years and events.
In-park relocations are rare but follow the same logic. Doo Whooper at Morey’s for example was relocated across the boardwalk several years ago to accommodate the Zierer, but you don’t see the New Jersey locals calling it a new coaster.
In Barrels of Fun’s case the ride experience is virtually unchanged asides from some paint and an arguably improved presentation. It doesn’t have any new track let alone layout changes, even the rolling stock hasn’t been changed. It is practically a fairground coasters, albeit one that is only operating at its third location instead of one thousandth.
My view is that I don’t even think this is a debate that should be had. Nine plus ten doesn’t equal twenty-one just because it sounds cool.

Kind of a dick-ish way to put a difference of opinion on a subjective topic with no correct answer. I personally don’t care about my credit count and think it’s an arbitrary thing that people can quantify however they like. If someone doesn’t count fairground relocations but wants to count BoF separately from Ragin Cajun that’s their prerogative. Doesn’t make it incorrect. Chill out a bit, we’re talking about roller coasters.

Little nitpick of mine but I really appreciate the fact that Super Round Up’s color scheme looks to not be all green and pink. The purple tarp covers the over-exposure I felt like the ride had, and gives it a more comforting look. I’m guessing they’re tweaking it out, because it’s already gone.

I think a spiral design like DelGrosso's has on theirs would fit really well with the Shoreline Pier theme.

So barrels of fun was not operational yesterday, same with waveswinger but this area is really cute. Is it perfect? No absolutely not. But is it a great first step that’ll be improved upon in future seasons? Absolutely.

I would hope that if the extra space wont be used for rides in the near future that they would plant a wide variety of trees and shrubs and provide a natural barrier to the parking lot.
