I will bet the farm that they’re getting SFA’s Flying Scooters. SFGADV is one of the few big US parks without, that one was just taken down, it’s a great supporting area ride.

If they actually build up Ragin Cajun there it’s because they are stupid and corporate has no idea where else to put it.

I can see your first point, but don’t necessarily fully agree with your second point.
I wanted to expand on my point on disagreeing about the people carrying the prizes @Zachary - apologies as work caught up to me.

IMO there’s other solutions than taking out the games. To me, the games along the pathways add energy and excitement to areas that may not be there otherwise.

I think you can do things like change up the prizes into something less substantial. Personally I would like to see a system where you get a voucher to redeem at a kiosk near the exit.

I guess personally I don’t see someone carrying their prize as “trashy” because (1) I see people doing far trashier things regularly, and (2) I guess I don’t register it the same way because most times I’m registering the joy I see people having.

Yea, I'd agree with @warfelg - while I do agree that parks can easily overdo it with cheap, cheesy, cliche game stands, having some in a boardwalk-themed area feels downright required if we're speaking to authenticity. Big prizes are almost a rite of passage for children, too. One of my clearest memories of childhood visits to Great Adventure was my dad winning and then carrying around a big purple gorilla on his shoulders. It lived in my brother's bedroom for 20-odd years until they finally moved.

That said, all of the bouncing basketballs can die in a fire.

My theory... the "high five" in the teaser means FIVE new ride experiences. This could include a Superman re-theme and the new 2027 coaster, which means at least 3 new rides could be added this year.

And a t-shirt shop that also sells Hermit Crabs, and looks like this:

The particular store chosen for your illustration doesn't sell hermit crabs, but I'm pretty sure you can pick up another type there.

(Edit: I was incorrect, at least insofar as them not selling hermit crabs. I wouldn't expect such a place that would platform that show to be engaged in classic boardwalk business.)

*sigh* For the love of dog do I hate that show and what it did to the Seasides.

I hope the NebulaZ from SFA is included in whatever is coming. Always been a huge fan of that model and would work great here.
My feeling about that is it could go to literally any park instead. It's also got a very tailored-in Steampunk theme that is still fresh, although we all know Six Flags isn't above redoing visuals to fit in. But those gears just still aren't going to match whatever vibe they're going for here, while it'd be snug literally anywhere else. The Flyers are a far more natural fit (and super easy shop job). I'm also surprised that wasn't the first ride at SFA to be disassembled, given that parks set up and take down Nebulaz' all the time for offseason work. Perhaps the urgency isn't there.
