I hope if they do a wing it’s different from the hot go would love the launched wing route. Have to wonder why more of those haven’t popped up yet. If it’s a well themed Hot Go then I mean that’s still a great ride for KD even unthemed. People would eat it up honestly.
I would prefer not having another boring B&M there, but I guess a Hot Go is better than some dirt.

I absolutely agree.... It's not that I don't like B&M but that I just don't think it's going to fill the void that Volcano has left. There's no doubt that whatever they put there will draw people in for a year or two but I think a B&M isn't likely to have the same long term effect that something more unique would have.

Who or what is a hot go? Google shows that it is a foreign park but with no wing coasters… y’all and your lil inside jokes heh

I feel like the possibility of a Dark Ride is not being discussed enough. I'd take a Dark Ride over a flat anyday. Imagine re-jigging the queue for Boo-Blasters to connect to X-Pedition (it wouldn't be all that much) and updating the ride to be a jungle adventure theme? I think it could be really strong. You could even keep the spooky swamp atmosphere!

I mean, it’s not like KD is a park with an oversaturation of B&Ms which the general public LOVES B&Ms. I’m more or less just visualizing like the idea if they did move forward with a wing if they went all out with it theming wise since that could be a possibility. A wing coaster with cool temple near misses is just a cool idea that theoretically could happen. A B&M Wing Coaster is very far from the top of my list for what I personally WANT there. I’ll just choose to enjoy whatever they ultimately build if it’s fun as I don’t have any control over the matter. Besides if it’s not exactly what you want I mean the park has the ultimate positive Gs ride and the ultimate negative Gs ride to get your fill anyway.

Very cool theory from Nick here. Mini Cooper to Jeep transformation incoming?

I could see that. Though they could do with reshaping the body of the cars to be more like jeeps, if that’s possible. Then again, Theres nothing saying they don’t have some stuff up their sleeves.

Backlot Stunt Coaster --> Flat Rock Stunt Coaster. Hey that rhymes! 🤣 Also, "repainted the interior of the ride cars" and "one of the radio interruptions tells the professor they found the keys the monkey took." Are these real, present in the park right now? I'll need to see what the insides of the cars look like.

While not 40 feet they could say the while indoor area can be a hidden cursed cave/chamber that FlatRock was hiding that people get ejected from.

And the whole area is some excavation site

The big problem with this, however, is I order to easily fit comfort collars on flight of fear would almost guarantee Skyrocket trains be placed on this, and those are not designed for LIM launches, and cannot do the friction brakes that are currently on the ride. That would be a significant investment that they likely wouldn’t do. Also, don’t give them any ideas!

How do friction brakes work on Sky Rocket IIs? I imagine they're these pads that press upwards against the brake fin to hold the train in place. But then again, that fin also happens to be the magnetic fin that interacts with the LSMs and mag brakes, so the possibility of friction brakes causing wear and tear on them is probably why block brakes aren't as common on layouts using this model.

I feel like they don't have friction brakes on the SRII's....... I could be wrong though.

Yes, it is a little pad. If you look in a Skyrocket II’s station, you’ll see a little black square pad. That’s the friction brake on a skyrocket II. Can also see this on Ice Breaker’s transfer track.

Is that more of a parking brake? Genuinely asking because I never really thought this fully thought on a SRII but my memory and assumptions tell me it really uses the staters/magnets/eddy to basically stop and it's less risky to rely on this for "full stop" since there is only ever a single train.

Found some clues on the posters at the restrooms in Jungle X-pedition.

There is a map and 6 posters.
3 of them are the currently “found” temples.
The other 3 are for apparently unexplored locations.
Let’s speculate!

(My guess is I305 for Kings peak, FOF for the Dooz caverns and Anaconda for the diamond falls?)
