Also note that Racer 75 turnaround appears as well, so maybe it’s just including the other rides as background?

Given the inclusion of a small part of Racer 75 and the waterpark, I think it's safe to assume that they were trying to make an accurate map. That said, that same reasoning certainly doesn't seem to justify the inclusion of Flight of Fear and Intimidator 305. It would have made a ton more sense to narrow the scope of the map and cut those attractions out. The borders on the other side of the map fit pretty perfectly to that known boundary of Jungle X. The same could have been done on the right side of the viewport as well.

I would be happy if they just spent funds theming the hideous junkyard coaster (safari jeeps and jungle?). Or better yet trash it and the water park in the hole and bring back the stunning lake.

FoF and I305 should get the Area 75 treatment. FoF is already themed well enough. It just needs a cohesive area.

I’ve always enjoyed the idea of Mondial Top Scan going into this area of the park but honestly any large flat would be a great add with The Crypt gone. Though Cedar Fair unfortunately seems to rarely add large flats. Otherwise there’s only one non-coaster in the entire section. I’m not sure if the top scans in the chain have met their expectations or if Delirium has.

I think one major con I’m sure marketing departments pick up on at times is how quick people on social media are to call a new flat a “carnival ride.” Still Cedar Fair seems to stray away from major flat additions unlike Six Flags with their Oprah spree with the Zamperla catalogue the past few years, a business decision I have 0 problems with.

Backlot stunt coaster should be the easiest for phase II—it's needed a rework for years. When we think about the story told by riding backlot stunt coaster, we begin by spiraling upward, then a few bumps and turns before a show scene with fire and then the escape through darkness. Here's my bold proposal: rename it to Volcano: The Blast Coaster. You spiral up the mountain exploring it's terrain before getting rocked around by an eruption. The flame effects get to stay, then you escape though a tunnel in the volcano.

It fits the theme of the area, it's exciting, and something tells me they might have some merch they could use...

Colorado Smith Adventure Coaster.

I was actually thinking retheming Backlot wouldn't be that difficult if you just replaced most of the car chase elements with like temple/jungle elements and you can make the scene sequence like a crazy fire temple or something with lights in the tunnel?

Could cammo netting on the walls and some faint lighting through the indoor portion be enough to convey racing through the jungle?

For me, the most important alteration to selling a retheme is going to be the landscaping around the ride. It is absolutely hideous right now. New trees and other plantings could do WONDERS.

Just getting rid of the comical amount of rock/gravel around the ride would be huge. Dim lights & netting, like you said, would probably be fine for the tunnel. Could dress up the show scene and billboard with a temple facade. Man would it be fun to be in charge of this retheme 😄

Intimidator 305 took me a moment, but I think I have it.

Kelvin 305

As we all know, the average temperature of a jungle is 77°F, or 298.15 K. With global warming causing massive climate change at the equator, we have the opportunity to showcase what happens to the jungle when it hits 305 K: the downfall of the ecosystem. 305 K = 90 °F = 90 Miles Per Hour, which is the spped at which the population of animal is decreasing.

I305 regularly hits over 4 Gs of force. What 4 Gs of the Jungle are affected by climate change? Naturally: Gorillas, Guinea Pigs, Giraffes and Giant Spiders—BAM. New theming writes itself.

Not to mention, what is a leading cause of climate change? Combustion of fossil fuels! We don't even have to change the intro or the ride vehicle. It's perfect.

Honestly for backlot it can be themed to a tour through the jungle that turned into a tiger chase. like everyone has been saying turn the cars into jeeps that are camo and replace the cop cars and the gravel/concrete with dirt exotic plants trees and animals. it can have a on ride audio with the tour guid speaking to you it could go like “welcome to our exclusive jungle tour *tiger rawr* uh oh we should get going” boom first Launch and before the helix “hold on tight!” after the helix “whew I think we lost em… anyways where were we ahh right so if you look to the left you’ll see so and so in it’s natural habitat look to the right you’ll see a giant tarantula be careful he bites” *pass a few more animals and the hit the breaks* “alright now we will- *leaves ruffle* “what was that? *Loud Tiger Rawr “STEP ON IT” throughout the tunnel hear bat noises and the tiger behind you and then right before the drop “uh oh I think we’re gonna fall!” Drop “ok We definitely lost him” And then hit the breaks “well ladies and gentlemen that concludes our tour for today that was one wild adventure” the timing and story line need to be tweaked a lil but just a lil sum I came up with.

Wouldn't FoF be the Snake Temple they had a poster for? They can decorate the outside and queue/inside to make it look like a temple and it's a spaghetti bowl, so snake-ish. Trains changed to look like snakes.

Those temples from the posters are supposed to represent other locations the fictional Professor Whey visited in his search for Jungle X. That's why famous locations like the Great Pyramids and the ruins of Pompeii are on there too. They're not supposed to represent locations inside Jungle X; they're red herrings.

This makes sense, but making it a snake temple would work anyway. 😀

BOY this gets me excited! Love that they're already hinting at future "temples" for JX. Interesting that there's 3 temples left and 4 coasters to X-ify (those being I305, FoF, Backlot, and Anaconda). Seems pretty safe to assume the Anaconda temple will be Anaconda, so that leaves the other two.
Omg I was right🥳
