It is one of the best family coasters though. Comparing it to Rapterra feels like comparing How to Train Your Dragon to an above average MCU film.

If thats the case then are the lower ranked rides on ranking lists compared to the bigger ones? Why is tempesto on any list related to pantheon? Everything is comparable in my world

I mean I didn’t say you can’t compare How to Train Your Dragon to an above average MCU film. You can do whatever you want. You just compared them to draw a response as indicated by you saying “fight me” at the end.

Four rides today, one of my kids had 9. Loved it even more than in the dark. For me, a former coaster lover who can't physically handle the intense ones anymore, it's my new park fave. Easy to reride, great nostalgia, huge win for me.

Plus at least another half dozen large trees were ready to be put in, so they are still going on it. Truly a special ride. I hope they build the area out around it. Come on dark ride in the picnic area!!

I had the chance to check out the live action How to Train Your Dragon in IMAX this week, probably the best live action adaptation of an animated feature so far (and I also screened Lilo & Stitch the following night which was cute but safe). Great opportunity to build even more excitement for Epic Universe

Is that because How to Train your Dragon is better than any MCU film?
Debatable. it’s an excellent family film one of the best I’ve watched ever. I’d rather watch Avengers Endgame personally or Shang-Chi because of the more “adult themes” in the same sense I’d prefer to ride an above average extreme roller coaster (like Rapterra) than a top tier family coaster (like Big Bad Wolf: The Wolf’s Revenge). Then a ride like Velocicoaster or Iron Gwazi would be your Oppenheimer/Goodfellas of roller coasters. The purpose of the comparison comparing a film like Goodfellas to How to Train Your Dragon is a weird approach. That’s like saying you think Big Bear Mountain is “better” than Fury 325.

I guess what I’m saying is a good-great extreme B&M is an MCU film, a top tier family coaster is a great family film everyone enjoys, and then your elite extreme coasters are some of the best films out there that are insanely good but some people don’t care for them.

Regardless Big Bad Wolf: The Wolf’s Revenge being compared to How to Train Your Dragon is a massive compliment.

Yea but what if I just dont like Rapterra making BBW just the better ride? Everytime I got off rapterra im kinda left with a meh feeling. It looks impressive but it just doesn't ride impressive for me. Not much airtime, not very forceful, restrictive asf with the restraints.

I literally have 0 negatives with BBW. It ended up being more thrilling than I imagined. Raptera was way less than what I was expecting.

Just like I can find How to train your dragon a better movie than goodfellas because goodfellas can be very boring to some. Especially Oppenheimer my god what a doozy of a movie. Good sure but zzzzzzz

You are entitled to your opinion. You know your opinion would be divisive (“fight me”), therefore pushback. Comparing a family coaster to a thrilling coaster that directly makes no sense to me in the same way comparing a dreamworks kids movie to a Martin Scorsese classic or Christopher Nolan epic makes no sense to me. It’s like comparing Filet Mignon to Chick-fil-A chicken strips.

Lines not bad; however! Lots of people complaining about the walk and lack of shade in the plaza and queue. The area beside Festhaus needs some tables with umbrellas and we need some music along the path and in the plaza. I’m really hoping for a Black Forest expansion because many people were commenting on the walk for one ride.

I get it’s not on the main path, but compared to some walks to coasters out of the way out there? It’s not that bad. Once you pass the Verbolten building you’re in the plaza.

Meanwhile…….American Eagle at Great America, Viper at Great America, Batwing at SFA, Judge Roy Scream at SFOT, Lightning Racer is a hike from the rest of Hershey, Medusa at GADV, The Bat at Kings Island, X2 at Magic Mountain, walking back to Big Bear Mountain and Dragonflier at Dollywood.

They definitely should add to that pathway though.

Pantheon needs just as much seating in its plaza as BBW does, and they havent done it yet. Shades kinda whatever I mean after a few months I doubt the line will be in the "outside" area much. Could be totally wrong but idk. Can't just throw a tarp over the entire plaza.

As for the walk? I meam come on. You're in an amusment park. What difference is the festhaus distance to just walking 5 more minutes to Wolf. People just like to complain

People will b****! About anything! But weren’t there two “houses”? The one in the station and the other down in the ravine area where Spire was planned?!? In fairness, I understand the point of it being kinda disconnected but, that’s why I’m hoping for an expansion because the area could definitely host another ride or two. I have no qualms with anything because compared to what we have been given in the past 5 years! This is top tier. Was really impressed actually with how the foliage along the path has started to hide Verboltens building. On a tangent though… whoever put the bell that’s in the center of the plaza…. It’s off center 🤦🏻🤦🏻 and the planting bed to the right of the lockers needs some shrubbery…. In a theoretical view… if they were going to build the area up… do you think that the picnic area would be used or are we going to go into Festhaus Park towards the Rhine ?
