Not bad. Got in line sand exact time as last week. 1.5 hours then, 15 minutes tonight. I was surprised.
iom geeks video?I saw a video from the opening ceremony, and it seems that there's more theming details they added. Which includes a plaque on the main bell tower next to the Big Bad Wolf sign near Das Festhaus that hints about the ride's story. It's awesome that the park is adding things still.
The only people complaining are the ones who think anything but a 300ft giga RMC is a trash rideI saw two videos of the opening day that shows the recent additions and how big the turnout was. The signs look gorgeous… the paintings are amazing. The more that is unveiled… I don’t know how anyone can bitch about this or Loch Ness’ recent thematic investment.
There were about two videos that showed off opening day and saw the new theming elements outside the ride. Also, I'm I noticing that the second lift hill is slightly slower than it was during Member Previews?iom geeks video?

I disagree about best in the game. Best in the regional park game? Yes. Better than any SF/Cedar Fair parks, better than the Legoland parks, other regional parks. But when you compare it to something like Disney? Space Mountain, Incredicoaster, Guardians, the list goes on - I don’t think anything Busch builds, even as incredible as this may be, can compare. Same goes for Universal, on a lesser scaleOnce again, Busch Gardens proves that they are the best in the game with on ride soundtracks. This ride has such amazing music, and it's a shame it will probably never be released to the public. The way the music builds until you see the reveal of the village and the way the bells are integrated into the soundtrack is so good. This ride is so much better because of the music
Nuanced personal take, and this is not a put down of you individually @coasters_bgw but:I disagree about best in the game. Best in the regional park game? Yes. It would have been more fair of me to say regional parks, because I agree with what @warfelg said. Disney/Universal are in a league of their own and of course are going to be better, as they have more to work with,I read @cricket's post as hyperbole which is totally fine—almost certainly excluding the top tier of theme parks entirely. That said, I totally get why @@coasters_bgw would read it at face value and want to push back a little. As posted, "best in the game" is a fantastical claim.
This perfectly summarizes where I have been, I have been a jaded crotchety old man in hiding and not posting as frequently, had lost all hope. But somehow someway it seems like things are going the right direction as far as attractions are concerned. I won't hold my breath with some of the other things that have deteriorated, but I will admit my pessimism in this attraction has been disproven. I still need to ride it myself, but it is unmistakable between everything I have seen and through the opinions of people I regard highly on this forum that this is a win in my book.Up until a day or two ago, it's been about ten months since my last post. While I think New Loch Ness was a well-done addition, Darkoaster and Pantheon before it made me think that it was a fluke, a diamond (or what's a cheaper gemstone, an emerald? a ruby?) in the rough.
