We get it, some people don't like the ride name options. Let's remember, it's just a ride. To be honest, this whole discussion of so-called Nazi references is way over-the-top, uncalled for, and dare I say detached from reality. (As well as offensive and dangerous.) Accusations like that should not be thrown around flippantly during a discussion about a Wolf-themed family ride. I seriously doubt BGW is trying to secretly pay homage to Nazis. Hard to believe that even needs to be said lolI can't speak for anyone else, but I don't think everything in German can be associated with Nazis. I do, however, think that iconography and concepts explicitly used by the Third Reich and Hitler are inappropriate in a theme park.
Yeah, but someone at BGW greenlit this shirt too which could be misconstrued despite no obvious ill intent. We get it, some people don't like the ride name options. Let's remember, it's just a ride. I didn’t notice it at first, but someone pointed out the whip and the color of the people on the train. Is it a stretch? Definitely. Am I offended? No. But that doesn’t mean someone else can’t take offense.Explain whats wrong with it
I was born in Hamburg and minored in German in college lmao.I take it your not a fan of the german language if you hate "nazi sounding things".
The person with the whip is also black i think way too many people here have horible political brainrotI didn’t notice it at first, but someone pointed out the whip and the color of the people on the train. For sure.. who here sees a rollercoaster name and hates it soo much that they start comparing it to the nazis? Get a grip you guys. The person with the whip is also black i think way too many people here have horible political brainrot
The majority of people dont see a name like wolfsturm and start schizo posting about a nazi sounding name. Im sorry but you sound detached from reality to even suggest it.I was born in Hamburg and minored in German in college lmao.
EDIT: Also, echoing Zachary, it's not that some of us think BGW is secretly run by Nazis. It's just a bad look to have a roller coaster name that sounds like a documented component of the Nazi regime.
This idea that any sort of consciousness or caution surrounding Nazi stuff is "political brain rot" is ridiculous.
Or just continue to complain about and criticize anything that Busch Gardens Williamsburg does? That objectively is not what happened. But do continue to create a false narrative rather than offering a substantive counterpoint.
