No it's not. But your comments come off to me as a casual person with a high level interest in theme parks propping themselves up to us for being so invested in this situation intellectually and emotionally, if that wasn't your intention then I apologize that it came off to me that way but if it was your intent then I feel pretty comfortable identifying you as trolling. A lot of us hear stuff like that from the average person in casual conversation. High level yes, obviously a family coaster is a wise investment. We just know they were considering much more interesting and far better for the park long term projects, than a ride that may have low ridership, simply due to the fact that parkgoers will have absolutely no idea it's there and this takes away a significant amount of land the park can create a far more well thought out expansion on. When you're this passionate about something, it's jarring to see the people making the decisions display no passion whatsoever.Different opinion does not equal troll. Ugh.
A fair bit shorter (longer than the off the shelf models like Golden Lasso, Railblazer and Stunt Pilot) and the support placements don't really line up with what RMC has done for a Raptor so far.Has anyone compared the footer layout to Jersey Devil? Wondering if it could be a raptor.
This post was largely ignored because of the bickering, but thank you for posting this. Here's my layout analysis based on what footers I saw. Blue being lifts, yellow being brakes, red being regular track.

I am a little confused about the first half of the ride before the boneyard as there's very little foundations and the pattern seemed to travel over the Drachen Fire maintenance building. Super weird.

I’d love for it to be a Drachen themed Surfcoaster. Riding a Drachen. I really enjoyed the seat movement and what a surprise how great pipeline was.Perhaps it's me--but I actually get the vibe of a coaster similar to that of Pipeline--a coaster that feels like it would need to have the curves like that to give you the sense of the weight you travel.
Perhaps a Surf Coaster, but themed as if you are doing something else; could be possible? Would certainly make more sense than a Family Invert given the scale of the layout. Could even allow a variability due to the way the seats move up and down.
and the German translation for Dragon Rider sounds cool: DrachenreiterI’d love for it to be a Drachen themed Surfcoaster. Riding a Drachen. I really enjoyed the seat movement and what a surprise how great pipeline was.
“Drachen the Dastardly Spinning Dragon of 42 inches.” Coming 2025!Folks. You really need to remember the meaning of life here.
As we all know, the meaning of life is 42(inches).
So... extrapolate from that starting point![]()
This would be very cool, but the layout doesn't look all that "Mack Family Spinning Coaster-y" to me?Take a look at Cobra's Curse, specifically the arc of the turns (going inward then rounding out) and the launch pauses, along with possible subterranean segment, and tell me we don't have a variation of "Drachen's Curse" coming...?
BGW hasn’t worked with Mack Rides since Wilde Maus I believe? Ride to Happiness at Plopsaland has been revered as spectacular ride. It would not shock me if BGW wants a piece of that with their own touches. This way you have the family thrill with the intensity of the spinning effects BGW lacks, and would be a first in VA. Google Maps shows similar turn geometry from aerial views on Ride to Happiness in a few sections that are similar to what we could be looking at.
I could be way off, but I feel that I am not. Thoughts?
