What signs though
From BGWfan:
"Bold prediction: B&M family invert sister coaster to BGT

-footer spread makes it seem not very high
-doesn't seem to have a significant straight launch section
-tight turns
-seems to have a curved drop over the maintenance building (curved drops being typical invert behavior)"

Some good points, but also, it would have to be much longer than the existing family inverts, so imo it doesn't match that either.

Ugh. Inner child in his cage for a moment……it’s objectively a good business decision for the park. They have no roller coasters at the 42 inch height range it’s a great addition to a theme park. It sounds like we’re getting a pair of B&Ms in 2025!

Alright pragmatic boring adult statement made. Personally:

I'm just blown they are using such a prime piece of land for such a low ROI coaster...short term.

Perhaps this leads into it potentially being the anchor for a true family style hamlet a la Wildwood Grove at Dollywood? They've seen quite the success shifting towards the families with young kids market...idk, just speaking out my ass here.

Thoosie in me wants to say "shits fucked"...but,

idk, whatever, meh I guess.

I don’t get it. This thing probably won’t even have that significant of ridership tucked way in the back there. Drachen Fire I believe struggled in some degree from being this far tucked back behind Oktoberfest (along with the whole “pain” aspect). Wouldn’t they WANT people to see something back there from far away? That’s a decent hike back around Verboltens building for a ride like this.

I feel like everyone has collectively gotten tunnel vision on this. The B&M invert makes sense for the plans, but it’s not the only thing it could be. I feel like the most recent push from SEAS was to add smaller family coaster to each of their parks. Every park has or is about to get their family coaster.

My mind has moved somewhere else that has been brought up so many times, it’s practically the biggest thoosie meme. Ya know what other coaster model has fewer supports, tight turns, and could also meet the height waiver? T-Rex. Roll your eyes if you want, but why write it off? Out of all of the official renderings that we’ve seen, the T-Rex can have fewer supports with how sturdy the track is. Tight turns? Thats the specialty of that model. Steep lift that doesn’t have to be as long? Yes. Drop that turns like an invert? We don’t know, but probably. Plus we’ve never actually seen one so there’s really no precedent of how the footprint should look. Could a potential prototype model be a shorter layout in order for RMC to really feel out the design? I say absolutely.

I think people are forgetting the last 3 out of the 5 past coasters added to the park are family coasters. BGWs family coaster lineup is full. Didn't they also mention and RMC coaster on the pass holder day thing for future investments.

This project/site really went from:

Wacky full-circuit river-crossing Intamin Giga -> Wacky Intamin Giga shuttle -> (never really confirmed but heavily rumored) RMC hybrid -> most likely a tame, mid-sized family coaster

What a ride, and got progressively less innovative with each iteration
