I imagine even if they made a 3rd one, that I would continue to feel that its also not similar

The OG was Verbolten, for reference. However, it didn't receive marketing as multi-launch; but considering that non-thoosies don't always differentiate between ride experiences other than things like fast, launch, big drop, and upside down... and track colors, it's not hard to see confusion when referring to one of what would be three launch coasters in the same hamlet.

I305 was built in a relatively condensed space thus giving the tight radius turn after the first drop and high intensity through the ride that many guests seem to be scared of... Though I presume it may have grown on many. ElToroRyan did a video on this and while I don't agree with all points this one is pretty solid.

Oh yeah, Verbolten. I guess I was just thinking about the 2 that were made so recently being relevant. Yeah, the ride is definitely intimidating as its name suggests, lol. I understand the risk involved in making a ride like that and its a good point that you bring up. I suppose I just feel like BGW has a lot of family rides and shows as is. EIther way, Id be happy with another more family friendly coaster as well because I often end up having to single queue on coasters because people I go with are scared of most of them.

Just a minor correction: DarKoaster was BGW's FOURTH multi-launch coaster. Verbolten first, Tempesto second, Pantheon third, DarKoaster fourth.

I knew I forgot one...

Of course, if they end up reviving and building the Drachen Spire shuttle coaster more or less as the plans detailed, @PhatPantheon can get their wish for both a giga and a multi-launch...

Yeah the instant I saw that comment I'm like what?

I'm not in the loop, what's the joke here?

It is totally a joke. By accepted definitions a Skyrocket II is obviously a coaster. Yet, in many snarky ways, it feels more like a flat.

When Tempesto first opened, my impression was that it was a boring clone as a coaster, but a really thrilling flat. The thought came to my mind, because in many ways the layout feels more like a flat ride than an actual coaster. Sort of an overly-dramatic Larson Loop.

I guess my observation must have resonated with a lot of people, because the idea stuck and it is totally a PFN in-joke at this point.

And some of us will always call Tempesto a flat.

EDIT: There is a long discussion about why I snarkily call Tempesto a flat its attraction thread.

I thought it was a Miami Dolphins ad
It was actually the Flint Tropics, the final launch up and over represents Jackie Moon's skyhook.

What are the chances this is an RMC ground up Topper track rather than an Ibox? It would definitely add to the lineup without having the “same model” as Twisted Timbers? I also recently learned that Wildfire in Sweden has the quiet lift option so that would be perfect for this spot. BGW having the tallest wooden coaster in the world sounds like a great move!

Topper track was discontinued a few years ago iirc. I don’t know the exact time it was discontinued but it’s not offered anymore unless it’s specially requested like a intamin accelerator iirc
