My apologies for that! I thought they still offered a wooden model along with their hybrids.
I mean, S&S makes great flats and davincis cradle still needs replacing. If the comment was just about rides in general, I could see this being what was mentioned. It also worth noting that at the June ACE Dive event Kevin was asked about manufacturers that they have talked with about possible rides. RCM, B&M, and S&S three mentioned by name with the and a few others throw in at the tail and the statement that it doesn't necessarily mean that the next ride would be from one of them.

With the success of iron gwazi and the fact we have a family coaster similar in concept to Darkoaster and verbolten being built by B&m in seaworld Orlando, I could see B&m having been approached about that concept. But at this point I’d be willing to bet 10 busch bucks it’s gonna be an RMC hyper hybrid.
I don’t know, with the leaked launched wing coaster for KD that seems to be on the horizon, I doubt it. But I think it would be a good fitThe only thing I’d like to see more than an RMC Hyper Hybrid, is a B&M Flying coaster called “Drachen Flyer”
Having had the privilege of riding iron gwazi just a few weeks ago, if we got a ride half as good as iron gwazi, bgw will be even more so a must visit location.Whatever it ends up being, I hope it brings a very unique ride to the park. An RMC would be awesome as I have only had the pleasure of riding one of them (Twisted Timbers). But anything new for the park would be awesome. We definitely have enough Multi-Launch coasters, though, if we got another that gave a very unique ride experience I would still be happy.
Definitely looking forward to experiencing that ride eventually. As long as we get an RMC better than Twisted Timbers ill be happy. (that isn't too say TT isn't fun, Its a great ride. Id put it 4th on my list for best Rides in VA which is incredibly respectable. behind Pantheon, I305, and Tied with InvadR.)Having had the privilege of riding iron gwazi just a few weeks ago, if we got a ride half as good as iron gwazi, bgw will be even more so a must visit location.
I've been saying g this ever since I saw the prototype of s&s axis coasterIf I’m going to dream I want to dream big and see a s&s axis do a throw back Drachen Fire and big bad wolf Bring in elements of both and it would be the first coaster of its type in North America. Plus with nessy and the flyers there’s already an established relationship. But it’s just a dream.
Who says S&S has anything to do with the Nessie retrack? If I’m going to dream I want to dream big and see a s&s axis do a throw back Drachen Fire and big bad wolf Bring in elements of both and it would be the first coaster of its type in North America. Come on BGW could really use another launch coaster or two I mean why settle for just setting the record for most drive the count so high no one else will ever go for it.Personally, if BGW receives any new ride from S&S, I will be very upset. I've seen nothing from them I'm impressed with.
I have “heard” that s&s is involved in the track, but not from anyone that creditable. But that’s not what I was implying s&s have the rights to all of arrows parts and designs so they have a working relationship with maintenance and upkeep of Nessy. That and finnegan’s flyers are also s&s.Who says S&S has anything to do with the Nessie retrack?
Could be completely unrelated (especially because Joe is doing all the layouts now, right?), but I'm about 90 percent sure I just saw Alan Schilke in the Richmond airport.
Anything is possible but with rmc’s being the greatest thing sense sliced bread right now, you can’t rule it out. All I have to say is the documents on here I have seen so far gave off the Busch is still in the kicking the tires phase type vibes , they may very well be taking bids on designs and costs and he was here on that or maybe they are all decided and ready to pull the tigger it’s hard to tell this far out.Even if you did, it wouldn't be impossible that he was here for other reasons than new business. Perhaps he was summoned for something related to TT, or visiting a supplier of some sort, some partner company (didn't he get his start at Arrow after working for a local structural foundation engineering firm?), or for personal reasons completely unrelated to the industry.
I bet they’re hoping cost of lumber goes down before they commit fully to a hyper hybrid.Anything is possible but with rmc’s being the greatest thing sense sliced bread right now, you can’t rule it out.
