On top of that installing a sub soil system would impact the ability of the area to hold significant weight as there would be a possibility of crushing the pipes. That would mean that installing one would be a significant sign that BGW doesn't have bug plans for the area.

Unless some can show me so drawings or detailing I don’t think they are doing anything the F.H.P area. It’s a blessing and a curse but the park is in the Chesapeake bay watershed and because of that nothing at all can done land disturbance wise with out a land disturbance permit and a save the bay waiver. And I just triple check there is nothing pull requested or active in that area of the park.

Or they've planned the drainage project in coordination with a site development project that requires it.

Only thing I can see that may need it is if they were to build a permanent outdoor amphitheater with lawn seating.

However, based on the current discussion, it doesn't seem like it'd be necessary to build if they need to terraform the ground anyways.

Also, even if a new hamlet and rides were built here, they wouldn't need a sub-soil system because they'd use other types of drainage solutions for impermeable surfaces, right?

What I’m trying to say is unless someone has some information that hasn’t yet come to light. I’m seeing zero permits or requests for anything land disturbance for any reason at all in that area the only active land disturbance permits in the park are for the footers at squires and the bank reinforcing at the wolf area. Besides a drainage field if needed (in my opinion it’s not between site lay out and use of the rhine for storm drainage) is not a permanent item, even if they installed it now, nothing is saying It couldn’t be altered, modified or even removed all together for future projects. But again I’m not seeing any signs at all that it’s even going on. Hopefully bgw enthusiasts can chime in and shed more light on the subject.

Unless I am misunderstanding, this entire debate is based on a completely unsubstantiated claim made by one person. There seems to be a lot of research and discussion going into something the original poster hasn't event attempted to justify or explain. In other words, I don't at this point see a good reason to suspect that there is a "new subsoil drainage system being installed in Festhaus field."

Perhaps if @bgw enthusiasts provides some evidence, this much effort might be justified.

I can't believe there would be a huge debate over some unsubstantiated rumor. Totally unpredictable outcome.

It's not like this is a space for thoosies to discuss realities or things they think are reality or something...

So is there a site plan available/submitted which we are now just waiting on an article to expose? Or is this just a notification that a site plan is going to be submitted at some point, and we don’t know anything beyond that?
