Bottom line is, this park has been awful at teasing new rides with effective hype, details, and marketing prowess since InvadR, and even that was a middling unveiling initially, until opening month.

Generally, only forum members seem to know there is a new attraction for 2025 here.
Generally, some people who are not forum members and are just part of the theme-park patron public know about Rapterra, and some kind of retheme for I305.

Unfortunate for BGW. Great for KD.

Agree, and similar to teasing new attractions I worry that the 50th anniversary next year at BGW will also not get nearly the attention and marketing it needs relative to what KD is already planning.

Kind of interesting because it's something that comes up with where I work of the battle of build anticipation VS seize the opportunity sales.

KD is doing a great job of building the anticipation with their sales of slowly showing stuff, trying to us continual stream of information to get people to buy. But the downside there is when people that haven't bought start turning you off because they don't want to buy not knowing if something better or more valuable will come along.

I can only guess that BGW might be trying to go for the seize the opportunity - Here's a new ride, 3 other projects, and 4 new initiatives we're doing, so seize the opportunity to get into our sale on this. Basically try to hit the multiple angles at once that would excite people and make them want to buy their thing because there's so many reasons to do it.

Question to those who may know, I seem to have a gap in memory if during previous projects, do they continue building all throughout the cold months? My recollection is yes but just wondering if it's going to be slow-going till spring? Or should this thing be well on its way to completion by then?

They should have this coaster finished as far as track placement goes by the end of year/ early January I would assume, with a silent, hidden and ultimately hushed testing and opening schedule ready by April-May 2025.

Meanwhile, Rapterra will test soon and be the talk of the James(town) instead of this...

Well, I don't know how b&m schedules their deliveries for ride parts etc but silver lining, this one will be later to the party and could potentially steal some of that thunder.

Both are solid projects either way, great time to be a virginia resident. If rapterra is ready to go first then that's where I'll be until this one opens. I'm not mad at them for taking their time though cuz it looks like the end project is gonna be well worth the wait

The village buildings have started going in. Don't see any new track installation but there is now a crane by the station so we may see that soon.

Even just one day later than @horsesboy picture above of the village framing going up even more has gone up. As you can see by some of the other pictures most of the grading to smooth out both areas has been done as it seems most of the footers in this section have been installed.

What does unlisted mean?

It just means that you can't go on Busch Gardens' YouTube channel and see the video there. In this case, people go through the 'Vote 2025' webpage that has the video imbedded there to view, or shared the video link on forums/social media directly like was done above.

On a side note...... I sure hope they pick a damn name soon and roll out some actual promotional content featuring this ride... because currently, as far as I can see, there is ZERO mention of this ride ANYWHERE on the park's website. I had to google "Busch Gardens 2025 coaster" to even find the now-useless name voting page, just to remind myself they're spending (probably) +$10 million on a new ride next year.

Just another baffling decision.
