Getting some early evening rides on Rapterra recently, I noticed (and liked) how FoF's main building catches Rapterra's and Tumbili's shadows from the setting sun:

So though it would be great for the park to do some theming/painting of the entire building - not just the launch section, provided operation of FoF is in their long-term roadmap - at least there's one time of day the building doesn't look quite as bad/noticeable, gaining a bit of "character".
These pictures are fantastic. The park should take a look at these photos and paint that Rapterra silhouette on the ride building permanently. Or maybe maybe paint the building a darker shade of brown and add some silhouettes' of trees, at least ,to tie it in more with the area.

Over in the Flight of Fear thread, mentioned here and here, it appeared the park was looking to paint the coaster's launch tunnel - where this would have been a great visual improvement for Rapterra's queue.

But from checking again this past weekend, it appears they've now 'undone' those previous paint tests, going back to the original beige color 🙁

Why did they even bother painting the facade if they're just going to tear it out?!

Haven’t posted in so long, but rode Rapterra back on pass holder night, and again last night!! Very fun ride, I like it a lot. The restraints are not super forgiving for us with bony hips however, the pinning was so bad I almost starting crying the first time I rode (although I can chalk that reaction up to it being past closing time and being very tired lmao). Can’t wait to get more rides in!

Honestly I'm pretty sure they would do this after the test whether they planned to move forward painting it or not. They just aren't going to leave random patches on the side.

Got my second ride tonight after riding for the first time at preview night back in March.

My first ride was very enjoyable and butter smooth. But this time around...OY...

I haven't been shaken like that since before Grizzly's retracking.

Not sure if it was due to riding later in the day, but the whole track after the massive wave turn was a pothole nightmare. Back row, left side, outboard seat for anyone wondering. Roughest ride of the 5 coasters I rode today (all three woodies, Dominator and Rapterra).

Is this footage sped up….or does it look like it’s hauling??

Not only was Grizzly atrocious before the retrack - but I personally thought it was DANGEROUS. Being jackhammered to insanity on a wooden track made me imagine the ride was gonna crash at some point, but I knew that was impossible. I only did Rapterra once in the front, but I hope my next rides on it are anything but what I described above.

That was my experience as well—back row left, outside, and I’m ready for some Advil. Front row left, outside or inside, no problem.

Noting, the wait time for Rapterra is currently posted at 25 minutes. I walked into the queue and encountered both switchbacks loaded extending past them. I have been in line for 25 minutes and I am still not past the first switchback. Twisted Timbers is also posted as under 15 minutes and appeared to be yesterday all day as well with users on queue times reporting 45+ minute waits yesterday.

EDIT:
Rapterras wait now shows “69 minutes” which wow……

I only have gotten one ride in and it was back row, right outside…and I have to agree, it was rough. I heard the front is a completely different experience so will hold off judgement until I ride there.
I found the front not that much better tbh. I mean sure its less but its still very much there

My experience marathoning it on a slow day was that middle row next to the track is the smoothies. Back is the ruffest with classes to track being slightly better the outside. Front row is noticeably ruffer then middle but not uncomfortably so. The front seat closest to Flight of fear as you load is the best seat on the ride in my opinion.

I barely notice the vibration on the ride compared to the likes of Diamondback or Goliath in Georgia in their valleys if I’m being completely honest. Or even some Floorless coasters out there. I definitely notice the “bounce” especially in outside seats.

Calling it “rough” feels like an exaggeration. It’s not as smooth as some new B&Ms have been when they opened and it’s also smoother than other B&Ms. The only B&Ms I've done that had me screaming to get off by the end are stand up models and Firebird and even that isn’t unbearable (it’s still shitty). A lot of this also depends on the individual and how they respond to vibration, G forces, if they’re hydrated etc. I don’t think “rough” is a fair term for Rapterra.

It wouldnt be considered rough by me if the ride had clam shells. Then it would be whatever.(only comparing that because youre comparing a hyper to a completly different ride type) But those trash vest restrains jabbing into collar bones with the sudden jolts and bouncyness completly suck. For me Dominator is a much smoother ride than Rapterra. Both are ridable and not actually rough to be a problem but if were judging a ride on any smoothness then hell no rapterra isin't smooth. If it has old school B&M restraints it would be less noticable
