Did you check the revised plans on the Hanover website? There are new plans as of 6/4 but I haven’t compared them to the old stuff that’s here on parkfans. There seems to be more detail and they even have the coaster train in that pre show section.

The apparent budget cutting the entirely of the launch building is absolutely infuriating. Not only was it supposed to house a show scene, but it was also designed to block the back of Flight of Fear. Awful, awful, awful.

I think I saw a document about 6-8 weeks ago related to fire regulations from the county to KD. Something about where are the fire supression system documents for the "building". KD's response to the county was there will be NO "building". So I guess they were referring to the launch building? I think it was a link to Hanover county web site from someone on here.
I know this is kinda KD’s competition for Pantheon but they didn’t have to match the theming
It’s still on the more recent plans, maybe they forgot to change it though the plans we have are just site drainage plans
That footer you circled is there; it's this one here, coming out of the first element. Just a bit tricky to see since the other #2 footer is just out of frame, but it's there.
As for the loss of the launch building... that sucks. A lot. The building should at least extended for just the start position of the launch, like Thunderbird. Not expecting that to be added at this point, but it's theoretically possible.
Assuming a budget cut was the reason, I'm just thankful the budget was spent on a full-sized launched Wing Coaster, I can live with slightly less buildings.
While I'm disappointed as well, the theming for this ride still has the potential to be very elaborate, if the rest of Jungle X is any indicator. The launch building would have been cool, but it may have looked pretty campy right from the start (or at least ended up looking very BLSC). Mystic Timbers has always had a terrible show building; did we really want a Jungle X version at KD? It may not be that big of a loss.
I'm a big fan of good theming, but I agree, this full-sized, launched wing coaster would be good with no theming at all. Not that I want that, but after riding Thunderbird and GateKeeper (what I consider to be the top two wing coasters in the U.S.), both of which are basically themeless (atmospheric theming at best), they're still great. Again, I think this ride will have a great vibe, with or without a themed tunnel. I still really believe effort will be put forth in the theming department!

When is the SF/CF merger supposed to be complete? Wasn’t it this month? I’ve heard rumblings that once it’s done KD is one of the underperforming parks that may be on the market for a new owner. I know people won’t want to believe that but from what I understand this new ride is going to be part of thr selling point.
Most definitely agree, I trust them to incorporate it with the rest of JX. It looks like there are some kind of beams that extend over the launch/holding area, so maybe it could still have some theming here (like some fabric/tent walls or something). Also could explain why some of the catwalks are painted that goldish/tan color, while the others (probably for the brake run) are the same color as the supports.
Where did you hear these rumblings? What's the source of this intel?
I wanna cry but at the end of the day KD is still getting a coaster, a large one at that so Ima suck it up. And who knows maybe the cut is cause they are evenly distributing the budget for theming to this and P305. Which reminds me, they have so many projects going on for next year so I imagine the budget was tight to begin with. But this still stings nonetheless.

Yeah that stings. Copperhead Strike’s launch building is more quirky than exciting so I was probably hyping up what this launch could be too much anyway.
Edit: If the pillars over the launch are as atmospheric as the pillars around Tumbili it will still look very cool.
