Bullet point 1 and 2 are violated 5+ times at day in this thread and I'm getting sick of it.

Dude I swear you come and say something almost exactly like this like at least once a week 😭

I feel like we need to freeze this thread until something actually newsworthy happens. As in it opens and/or an announcement is made.

I truly genuinely apologize for posting so much, I'll keep it down after this, but I just watched Brian's video on TikTok and I must say it...
What the fuck is this goofy ahh, car looking, zero car?

EDIT: I WAS WRONG! Around the 38 second mark in this video, you can actually see the zero car up close and it looks like they did paint some kind of fur like panther pattern on it.

In the Jungle X lore, all of the ride vehicles are man-made, mechanical devices created to give people the power of animals. The marks on them are supposed to be artistic representations of the animals. See Reptilian and how they purposely didn’t attempt to make the trains look like real crocodiles. So adding fur or going for a “realistic” take on a panther would’ve made no sense for Pantherian.

I'm more curious how you were able to derive any detailed information about what the zero car looks like, from that screenshot with less pixels than I have toes.

It's very "old man yells at cloud" of me, but reading this forum has gotten much more tiresome recently, having to wade through masses of completely pointless posts that serve as basically nothing more than reactions, in order to find anything actually newsworthy or interesting. It feels like reading a Discord channel. Seems obvious to me that the solution is to simply ignore the users perpetuating this behavior, but other users keep taking the bait, further deepening the piles of garbage posting, and snowballing the problem even more.

(I'm aware this post is doing exactly the thing I'm describing.)

And you’re missing toes!

Ok, ok, bad joke.

Also @Mushroom - is there a way to know that lore without ‘knowing’ ahead? I mostly ask because if they just repaint the old shells I can see how it can be confusing that can be - since I didn’t know that bit of lore until now and I thought I had been following it well.

There are several signs throughout the area that explain the lore. A few are at the area entrance. And there’s additional signage in each queue explaining the lore and showing schematics of the vehicles.

Shows how little I paid attention to that in my final visit 😂

I like it, I mean it has theming that’s not just the zero car this time around so I think it’s an improvement, it looks a little silly but honestly I love the silly stuff.

If it’s working well with these tests then we could really see it open in a few days, I’m not sure how Virginia is with inspections but other six flags parks have taken a couple days of testing and then opening the day after that, like Minebuster at Canada’s Wonderland tested a couple days and reopened and demon at SFGAm did the same thing. I just don’t see them having it ready and then waiting to open it, they even have people from last year who operated it and I think they did some training last week so we may be within days of it opening (PLEASE)

Maybe, I think it really depends on what the exact problem(s) was and how confident they are in their fix. Something major where they aren't as confident, they may test for weeks. Something simple, but just had a part that took forever to get there, probably a few days. With the end of peak season rapidly approaching, they may choose to wait until fall hours to test during the week without prying eyes and have less hours on the ride with guests on it where they can work on it all week if it breaks again.

Judging from what Ive seen now I believe the part that was missing was the whole damn lift motor and it appears it’s working with either a fixed or new motor. They’re already testing during normal hours now so I don’t think they’re gonna wait for non business hours to test.
