Given that Carowinds just changed the name of its intimidator, it’s likely Cedar Fair ended the licensing agreement for the name, which means we’re about to see a retheme (hopefully to Jungle X).
There it is. “Project 305” placeholder. WOW!
Yup.. and this is either a lot of marketing fluff or they are going to drastically improve theming..

Considering the park opens in about three weeks, I would like to think that this renovation started a while ago. Anyone in the Richmond area have a drone? 
I thought it was notable that it said "the look and feel of the coaster will evolve." I figured the looks would, but the feel?
I wonder if the "feel" portion corresponds changing to the trains themselves. That's what I gathered from the announcement.
I can't AT ALL imagine the trains or restraints would change, without the integrity of your spine also changing.. though I suppose 'snapped' is indeed a different feel than normal 
I'd love to know how long this had been brewing. Carowinds came up with Thunder Striker (WOW...), but with I30- excuse me, P305- the de-intimidator'ing was clearly was anticipated and there's at least a plan being developed.

Hm, I kinda like it? It will always be i305 in my heart but I don’t hate it
The word "Intimidator" is very obviously omitted from this article. I'm calling it: either a panther/jungle cat theme or King Kobra. Since Anaconda could be on its way out, a snake theme could easily fit into Jungle X lore.
The long-standing rumor that I've heard from multiple places was a theme to a panther, but I could see King Kobra making a comeback since it was the name of a former ride. I think what's exciting about Jungle X projects and theming is that this could truly be anything. I think the theming can only go up from here.
Maybe wing trains, which would be epic, but unlikely.

I'm guessing it'll be the same trains, but with a paint job and new front end to replace the "car" look. Zamperla Lightning trains would feel different.
Skyrush trains on it would genuinely make it legendary, I love skyrush and the wing seats make the ride even better but I just don’t see this happening
There’s no reason to put them on Project 305, it isn’t launched and doesn’t need a launch. Just why would you do this lol

Lightning trains can work with a lift hill too, they are not just for launch coasters.
The trains track perfectly, hope they stay.
