Its a video of it going up the lift hill. It is testing. Its litterally doing what it always has done. Can we please stop spamming this thread with junk. Its going to open soon, I know you're excited just like so many but please, relax a little. You have 4 posts out of 9 on this page before I posted. All within 2 hours of each other. Relax a little homie you will get to ride it soon.

I personally think this message is a little bit harsh. This isn’t the library of congress. Let them be excited 🙂

A white slap has been issued.

@Avalancher I don't think I indicated that they couldn't/shouldn't be excited? You can do that without spamming a thread though, which I am against.
HOLY FUCKING SHITTT
I am dying to see what that front car looks like…
Istg if no one gets a video ima cry real tears
Hoping they announce the opening date, and don't just open it randomly to hype it up and so we can all be there to see it open for the season!
How many times does each train have to test? 500? Isn't that what It is?
I’m pretty sure Fury was 500 after the crack happened but this might be different

All of these were posted within 2 hours of each other and none of them provide any substance worth conversating. I am not against being excited or having fun, but I'm strongly against spamming non sense all the time. Look at the last 5+ pages of this thread, aside from some great photo updates, its just more material like I quoted above without any substance at all.

Please also remember that some form of etiqutte is expected on this forum.
Forum Etiqutte Thread
It was decided by the Advisory Panel that the old "Forum Etiquette" section of the forum rules should be removed as they were not enforced standards but rather encouraged guidelines of conversation.

I firmly believe that new users (especially those unfamiliar with internet fora) who are motivated to become great contributors need a place to familiarize themselves with what is expected of them. That is what this thread will be.

For now, the unofficial forum etiquette guidelines below are largely based on what was previously featured on the forum rules page (put together by Nicole, Gavin, Shane, and I). I will be using that joint effort as a base to build off of as I evolve this collection of recommendations as needs arise and dissipate in the future.

Unofficial Forum Etiquette Guidelines

Posting in a Thread

— Content & Tone
  • Keep posts relevant to the thread topic
  • Ensure your post makes a substantive contribution to discussion [Additional Thoughts]
  • Maintain civility—pleasantness wins more debates than rudeness [Additional Thoughts]
  • Try not to post the same content in multiple threads
  • Provide links and short descriptions, when citing other sites and/or sources. [Additional Thoughts]
— Formatting & Presentation
  • Use proper capitalization, spelling, punctuation, and grammar
  • Include descriptive text captions with all external links and file attachments
  • Cut down quoted text to exclude anything irrelevant to your post
Creating a Thread
  • Search the forum for an existing applicable conversation before creating a new thread
  • Post new threads in the appropriate discussion category
Modifying Your Profile
  • Keep your user signatures small and subtle
  • Do not use animated profile images
  • Avoid potentially offensive material in your username, signature, and profile image

Discussion of these (and possible future) guidelines is encouraged below. I have had a hand in managing this forum for seven years now, but I am in no way an communication expert. Ultimately it is up to the community—not me—to determine what is expected of its members.

The content and Tone section above explains what is generally expected of users when they post.

Bullet point 1 and 2 are violated 5+ times at day in this thread and I'm getting sick of it.

No problem at all with making fun posts every now and then. A good laugh is fun from time to time, but the constant spamming of unsubstantial content again and again and again and again and again and again isn't doing anything but pissing people off, myself included.

@CoasterBroCam I'm sure you're an awesome person and I'm happy that you are excited about Pantherian and Kings Dominion, I am too. Please just take an extra moment before you post something and ask yourself if your post adds anything of substance to the conversation being had.

Anyway, back to Pantherian.
Edit: Tagged the person I was originally responding to.

I was at the park last night from 6pm to close, and spent a good chunk of that time on the Eiffel Tower observation deck (fun surprise to see it open) basically just STARING down Pantherian willing something to happen.

Alas, 'twas not meant to be. No test runs and no real signs of movement at all. Lots of chatter from employees throughout the park who saw it test though!
