Good, I always enjoy when parks offer lower-key, classy designs rather than the garish ones we’re often stuck with

Kings Dominion - Virginia Amusement Park & Water Park
There are so many fun things to do at Kings Dominion, Virginia's premier amusement park! With so much to do & see, you'll need more than one day here!

Disappointed they waited until opening weekend to share this news. Have a trip planned mid May, guess I won’t be able to ride.

I was definitely looking forward to riding Pantherian today so this is certainly disappointing. Curious what else they are doing theming wise if it needs to be down till the……summer????
I too am upset they waited till today but it seems like the plaza is going to be an active construction site so it makes sense that guest wouldn't be allowed in yet. I wish they did this in the offseason but better to wait and have theming for the future than open now and no more theming.
"Surrounding the plaza will be shrines dedicated to the jungle cat, almost as if they guard the ancient device towering before them. An ancient language is scribed on them, coding messages that can be deciphered."
"Stone carvings and shrines are cut, awaiting assembly"
Yeah the “btw your favorite rides closed” vibe is lame. But I’m very curious what they’re doing now.
The nerve to post this the DAY OF passholder preview is infuriating, too... Oh well, corporations...
well that's a kick in the ballsNew blog post is up!

On one hand im sad it wont be open but I am happy they’re doing something more to that plaza and queue than just wood fence and brown paint, and if it takes a bit longer then so be it

Sorry if I missed an earlier post stating the opening date.. but does anyone know the day Pantherian is supposed to open up again? I have a trip planned this April
Supposed to be open "this summer" so probably not April. Once again, a complete kick in the balls.
I feel like we are overreacting a bit here. I think this has very little to nothing to do with the merger.
