Probably just don’t want to make an announcement yet— if they advertise it as part of the big weekend event and it’s closed, guests who travel there will be pissed. If it’s open, it’s just a bonus and people will feel lucky they got a ride on it.

I know i would be pleasantly surprised if a ride I wasn’t going to be able to get on was open.
I'm curious why you believe that they have the part. Is there some evidence I'm missing?
If, according to Brian Sterowski, crews were truly told to get ready to open the ride “within the next 2 weeks”, then it would probably be safe to assume that they very likely have the part and testing should begin any day now.
Both sources are very reliable that gave me the info. However, I even have my doubts at this point that it’ll be ready next week. Unless there’s yet another issue. Nothing shocks me anymore.
Especially considering the ride has been sitting dormant for about 3 months now, something else could happen.

Is it just the lighting, or have the I305 black and white shade covers been replaced with beige ones?
Love this development. Pantherian is so massive and impressive that an accompanying slogan (though the GP would barely notice) IMO would be neat. Something like "Pantherian: Chase The Sky!" - kind of like what TTD had with "Race The Sky!" could be fun. Regardless, this is a great follow-on to complete the area's theme.
Have they fixed the gift shop exterior lights still being red?

Maybe it already has tested in the early morning hours. The one train had been moved today so it’s possible.
It is possible that they are testing at night so certain forum members dont keep asking when they are opening and what they are hiding when they say "we don't know"

More work today. Notice the one cat statue on the pedestal. That should be going in the center
Some more theming is being added! New painting on the entrance tunnel. They’ve also completely torn up the center of the plaza and moved the statues around a bit. Finally being the one to provide an update vs reading is a strange experience lol!
