Only Cedar Fair park locals can be disappointed with a B&M lol

To clarify that disappointment. I really do not like 4-across seating on inverts. You can't see anything if you aren't front row or on the edge. Also B&Ms get rattly and their huge honkin' OTSRs end up boxing your head mercilessly, especially on the outside seats. Maybe they could put vest restraints on it - have they done that yet on an invert? But also, B&M's designs just seem uninspired these days to me. I feel like they've fallen behind the times and aren't interested in catching up.

I actually have to fully agree with this; I'm not a big fan of inverts myself. Every time I ride one, I swear I end up more bruised than a boxer in a bar brawl. B&M's are fun and they're smooth, but ultimately, if you ride one of a certain type, you've rode them all as of late.

Congrats on being the 0.01% then. I and the vast majority would be totally down for a B&M invert in that spot.

I think KD will rebuild the mountain and place 2-3 dark rides in it. Maybe they can't capture the most coasters in a park. But, they could become the park with the most dark rides in a park!

I have yet to ride a B&M anywhere that really boxed my ears. Never got to ride Iron Wolf, admittedly.

Maybe it’s because I lived through the 90s — some of you younger folks have never truly known OTSR pain...

I am most definitely not the younger folk. I get boxed pretty bad on Dominator every ride. Sometimes it's worse than others. I seem to have a bit more luck if I stick to one of the rows with a plus sized seat. Row 5 & 6 I think? I mostly only ride it because my kid and my nephew like it. Also I like the vertical loop a lot. After that I just hope to not get banged up too bad.

At least on Dominator I can see when in an inner seat, which is pretty much the only place I'll sit on Dominator since the head banging is worse on the outer seats.

They're not rebuilding the mountain. They're literally flattening it right now and CF isn't investing THAT much money into the park.

Of course they are tearing down the existing mountain. To be replaced with a new mountain containing 2-3 dark rides and a couple kiddie rides.

Lowkey KD does need a dark-ride experience outside of Boo Blasters... I'd be okay with this honestly.

You stop. He's doing the same thing you are doing. It just doesn't agree with your opinion.

Disney's California Adventure/Disney's Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom to name a few. Every Universal park in the states as well as... SeaWorld Orlando, SeaWorld San Diego, Holiday World, Dollywood (assuming the small inverts don't count), Nick Universe, Silver Dollar City, Valleyfair, Fun Spot (both), Knoebels, Kennywood....

Would you like me to list more?
Also wouldn't mind knowing which of these MAJOR AMUSEMENT Parks that don't have inverts you don't consider a major amusement park. Because none of them do and I'd argue that most are at the same level as KD or above.

Does Flight of Fear not count? Though I'd hardly call Boo Blasters a dark ride. In any case I don't think KD needs another dark ride. They could use some more unique flats, even though I don't ride most of them because they tend to make me sick to the stomach. Scrambler is an awesome classic I do ride, and doesn't make me sick because it moves in a star pattern. Which is part of why its awesome! Never remove Scrambler, please.

On a related note. I keep thinking of trying Bad Apple, but it scares me. But it also seems to move in a star pattern. Is this one motion-sickness-people-friendly too?

SEE! I'm not the only one. Also B&Ms can be rough as as a bed of nails. (I'm looking at you Kumba and Alpie)

I petition we replace Volcano with a dark-ride themed scrambler called Volcano: The Dormant
