ive only seen it do that once, during the early stages of testing. im guessing he just got a rollback
Yeah it’s only when they have to restart the launch. At least based on what I’ve seen it testing.ive only seen it do that once, during the early stages of testing. im guessing he just got a rollback
Rather, the more you don't see, the more you shake your head...This level of theming is so pathetic. Completely laughable. No trees, no theme, no queue. Everything about this project is disappointing except the actual ride.
The more I see the more I shake my head.
I was told by trusted sources that there were successful employee rides this week so it sounds like it's all goodDo we still know if there are mechanical issues going on?
Huh- I heard otherwise.I was told by trusted sources that there were successful employee rides this week so it sounds like it's all good
I mean did you not just see people in the reviews say the swing launch section is the best part of the ride..What puzzles me is if they weren’t going to theme the ride, why build the fast switch into the ride in the first place and instead just go with a normal blitz coaster that hits all the records they want. They aren’t marketing the switch or the forwards/backwards/forwards launch experience (which you can also get 100 yds away) so why include it in the ride design.
Using the fast switch makes sense if you’re telling a story a’la Hagrids, but otherwise it’s just an unnecessary gimmick that extremely few guests are looking for. It would be like if they built an open air version of Verbolten with no theming and that drop track was still there. It would just be gimmicky instead of being an intricate part of the experience.
To be clear they did lose one day but I was told that rides were successful later in the week.Huh- I heard otherwise.
There was no one-ride limit at the pass member preview events for either coaster. To be clear they did lose one day but I was told that rides were successful later in the week.
On another front I heard the one ride limit for pass members was not enforced with Icebreaker and Gwazi so maybe there is hope for multiple rides on Pantheon
I guess the question is if they treat the VIP events differently. There is no limit for passholder previews on either Ice Breaker or Iron Gwazi, but I didn't attend either of those as Paasport to Thrills VIP events. There was no one-ride limit at the pass member preview events for either coaster.
I agree, especially if the switch track proves to cause a lot of downtime. That’s a high cost both up front and in the future just to have a switch track that happens with our back turned. A very similar sensation is available nearby with Tempesto like you said. What puzzles me is if they weren’t going to theme the ride, why build the fast switch into the ride in the first place and instead just go with a normal blitz coaster that hits all the records they want. I’m not doubting that part of the ride is really fun, I just don’t understand the investment from a corporate management point of view if you aren’t going all in with theming. The swing launch isn’t marketable to anyone outside a few enthusiasts, so why do it if you’re not building a more immersive ride experience. The only thing I can hypothesize is it being a pet project of someone in executive leadership that just ignored reasonable business evaluation and signed off on this.I mean did you not just see people in the reviews say the swing launch section is the best part of the ride..
