i would like to take a moment to appreciate that pantheons front row split off line is literally an unpaved gravel path. what the actual hell bgw
That doesn't look like a front row line, but a quick access pathway for maintenance to run from the station to the fast track switch and also has an adjoining pathway to launch 1. Most likely would only be used by guests in launch 1 evacs. They may have needed another staircase for fire evacuation purposes as well. Speculating because I haven't seen it in person, but just my guess.i would like to take a moment to appreciate that pantheons front row split off line is literally an unpaved gravel path. what the actual hell bgw
Knowledge of their corporate is very sparse on this forum the best we can rely on are statements from SEAS. We really don’t understand the full story as to why Pantheon was delayed until 2022 other than supposition that they could maximize ROI. The swing launch was never meant to be part of advertising from a marketing standpoint “fastest multi-launch coaster in the world” is what the park is selling people on. You also realize that there are demolition costs to pieces of the ride that’s already been added. So why add extra costs to the ride that’s not how corporations operate. We’re still also not sure whether they’ll add more theming at later dates to cut costs short term. At most the station seems to be getting Apollo-esque theming. This is the largest investment the park’s made since Verbolten and plus a global pandemic threw a wrench in their plans.I’m not doubting that part of the ride is really fun, I just don’t understand the investment from a corporate management point of view if you aren’t going all in with theming. The swing launch isn’t marketable to anyone outside a few enthusiasts, so why do it if you’re not building a more immersive ride experience. The only thing I can hypothesize is it being a pet project of someone in executive leadership that just ignored reasonable business evaluation and signed off on this.
it is the front row line, see here. That doesn't look like a front row line, but a quick access pathway for maintenance to run from the station to the fast track switch and also has an adjoining pathway to launch 1. They have said that everyone will be given a wristband that has tabs that you tear off that you have to redeem for stuff at the event.I know I'm going a bit off topic but I am curious if anybody has heard how they intend to pull off what they are calling a VIP party for the preview days. I know the park is open for regular operations and I'm sure they are not going to block people from crossing the bridge into New Italy. I have seen them unprepared for other events so just curious how they intend to hand out the "swag" and control the line to actually ride Pantheon. Has anybody heard anything?
It is 100% not. It would make 0 sense to split it that far away from the station. Looking at the picture it's pretty clear that it's for access to the launches from the station.it is the front row line, see here.
I think they were using bracelets like that at a Water Country event last year. They have said that everyone will be given a wristband that has tabs that you tear off that you have to redeem for stuff at the event.

Do we even know that the down time was due to the switch track? Or is that just an assumption here? It feels like an assumption, but maybe I missed where it was actually reported to be the case?
Have I read the last few pages correctly that people are already calling for the switch track to be removed? Holy fucking hell, the ride isn't even open yet.
That does not sound accurate at all.He mentioned that the park basically got Velocicoaster as reparations from Hagrid’s unreliability. (Paraphrasing what he said)
I hope Intamin fixed those temperamental bugs with Pantheon.
Could be, but a bad sensor is usually a relatively quick fix (less than an hour if they have spares in stock, which they should have). Could be mechanically related to not being in the right spot, but again, that's something that should only take a few hours to fix, unless there are larger engineering problems. From what I heard the issue was a sensor not reading that the switch track was in place but I am only about 75% sure of the reliability of that info.

I have only heard them missing one 2 hour ride session so that doesn't sound like it's out of the realm of possibilityCould be, but a bad sensor is usually a relatively quick fix (less than an hour if they have spares in stock, which they should have). Why spend much money on something they will do away with in the coming days.....case in point Apolloi would like to take a moment to appreciate that pantheons front row split off line is literally an unpaved gravel path. what the actual hell bgw
