The rumors you hear at the park are the best....overheard on the train Thursday...."when they tested it all the water dummies fell out...im not riding that thing".

The way the park has handled this, i fully support the spreading of rumors about the lack of safety for the new rides.

I heard that they were supposed to open pantheon in may but when they started testing it one of the trains crashed at the switch track so they had to scrap it. Now they are repairing it and reprogramming it to run with 2 trains.

I know it goes back some, but this is why I don’t mind the park not publicly saying anything about the rides status. Majority of park goers don’t realize it’s tested, passed, passed final inspections. Let them have those silly little rumors.

My 10 year old asked a group of employees at the tram station last night why the roller coaster on his souvenir cup is not running.

They got a good chuckle out of that one before they gave him the "COVID happened during construction" excuse.

Given that Tampa announced an opening month for IG, some possible reasons BGW did not:

1) There’s internal disagreement over whether it should open in March (when the park will still be only operating on weekends) or closer to the beginning of summer.

2) They know they won’t be opening it until May and want to create some distance from the other openings to avoid direct comparison.

3) They actually plan to offer members some kind of early access to the ride during the early parts of the season and want to be able to announce this gradually in order to reflect the park’s reliance on membership over the other SEAS parks.

4) They woke up and chose chaos.

The weather here is too poor in Feb to hope for anything....even march and possibly April too. The Florida parks will draw people anytime of the year and they could be trying to tap the presidents day crowds. For Pantheon I think this means nothing other than a 2022 opening and I think it will heavily rely on when KD opens theirs.

Unless attendance is good early next year, then maybe 2023? Instead of a new attraction every year it's the promise of the same attraction every year!

LOL If they delay it again then I won’t give a shit if it opens or not because I’ll be over at Parc Astérix that year riding a far superior coaster in Toutatis!
