More than once as well. The social media team/person has confirmed in the post comments that there are member exclusives coming. Better be able to ride it like a month early.

Universal's response to SEAS news this morning...
I for one find it humorous. That seems rather….unnecessary and low class.
I like it, puts SEAS in their money centric cornerThat seems rather….unnecessary and low class.
Yeah, so is holding onto new rides for maximum corporate benefit after selling passes based on those rides for 2 years. That seems rather….unnecessary and low class.
Exactly, there is no siding with SEAS here when they were completely silent for half a year just to line their wallets.Yeah, so is holding onto new rides for maximum corporate benefit after selling passes based on those rides for 2 years.

Then target Disney who announced Tron and GotG 3 years ago and still haven't even finished building them rather than a regional theme park that in town is opening a much smaller coaster, the one down the road that is opening a really different ride, and one about 800 miles away.Exactly, there is no siding with SEAS here when they were completely silent for half a year just to line their wallets.

True, but Disney hasn't sold tickets each year pretending or at least implying you'll get to ride those. No dates have been set as far as I know. Then target Disney who announced Tron and GotG 3 years ago and still haven't even finished building them rather than a regional theme park that in town is opening a much smaller coaster, the one down the road that is opening a really different ride, and one about 800 miles away.
I assume that shot is more at BGT but even then it feels, as @halfabee said, low rent.
Theres a moderate difference between taking forever to build a ride and finishing it and leaving it SBNO because you wanna maximize your profit despite having already sold memberships based on the completed ride. Then target Disney who announced Tron and GotG 3 years ago and still haven't even finished building them rather than a regional theme park that in town is opening a much smaller coaster, the one down the road that is opening a really different ride, and one about 800 miles away.

Still think it's kinda a unnecessary shot that was completely uncalled for.Theres a moderate difference between taking forever to build a ride and finishing it and leaving it SBNO because you wanna maximize your profit despite having already sold memberships based on the completed ride.
Except that they didn't say anything about BGT/SWO. They simply stated that they opened their ride in a timely manner. This is social media too, not the parks talking to each other. Given how many people are annoyed with how SEAS is handling this, that seems like a great way to sell passes. Shoot, If I was still in Orlando instead of Tampa, I would have probably replaced my cancelled SW pass with a UNI pass.Still think it's kinda a unnecessary shot that was completely uncalled for.
Gonna be honest, I'm really dug in on this. I think it's more a shot at SWO and BGT than BGW (makes no sense to take a shot at a park 800 miles away). And even at that taking a shot at a park that encourages people to stay longer at your resort isn't a smart move.
