1. This has probably been mentioned, but there are now ride photo cameras at the bottom of the tophat, right before the outward banked turn.

Can anyone corroborate? It didn't seem like there was a photo booth for purchases in the site plans or in the area but that's an interesting development if true.

Did you really think they wouldn’t have a photo booth to try and suck money from riders pockets?

As far as I know there's currently no evidence to suggest that the camera on a pole near the Rhine drop is an on-ride photo camera. Considering the apparent lack of a photo sales location for Pantheon, it seems more likely that the camera is just for ride surveillance.

Oh ok. It is odd to see a security camera there though.

My guess is it's a visual confirmation that a train made it over the top hat - I'm sure a prox sensor on the ride would be more reliable for allowing the next train to dispatch though

I agree. Usually the cameras are placed in areas where the train can stop, so ride ops can monitor guests during a shutdown before an evacuation. Has there been evidence of the train not making it over the outward banked turn after clearing the tophat?

Is that even possible with momentum? That top hat is pretty quick coming down.

That's what I was thinking. Seems like an odd spot, unless for some reason they are concerned about a valley. They could also be concerned about wildlife, but there are much more problematic spots on other rides.

I recall the maps just saying coming soon or opening soon just a few short weeks ago. I could be wrong.

What gives, like really? All of SEAS competition seems to be opening rides just fine this year under the same circumstances as SEAS?

Didn't SEAS have a stellar year in 2020, that put SEAS in a better position than it's competition?

The goal post is ever moving on Pantheon, hopefully someday we get the truth on why.

Is it rude to say I'm pretty sure that's been covered several times in the last 10 pages or so?

Today while waiting for the train the person at the station says lets do trivia since the train is taking longer than expected. I wasnt paying much attentin since I was sidetracked with HHN anouncements......but then he mentions Pantheon and I though....way to rub it in guests faces.

I guess I stand corrected. Posting in this thread alone gave me anxiety. I’m happy that it wasn’t anything new for that reason alone lol
