I’m sorry, what? The name was DEAD accurate. My prediction: The ride will be called Pantheon and have white track - with grey supports. I want red but I know how unlikely thay is.
Again, I thoroughly enjoy reading through old postsThis from the man that said it's Pantheon?
How’s that going for ya??I just dont believe that name for a second. See if I eat my words..
You think the name Pantheon is terrible?????Given the source of the information and how terrible a name it is, I don’t think @FoozMuz’s reaction was in any way unreasonable.
Pantheon - all the gods of a people or religion collectively. It's very uninspired, like anything post Busch. We went from rollercoaster names and themes based on mystic and legend to a car rental counter, a meme, a pasta, and a building.
Verbolten is a great name lol. Fits perfectly with the ride. It's very uninspired, like anything post Busch. We went from rollercoaster names and themes based on mystic and legend to a car rental counter, a meme, a pasta, and a building.
*The Ride to Happiness softly calls from the distance*The name makes no sense for a roller coaster.
There is no sense of movement, danger, force, or anything that has anything to do with a train speeding through its course.
There is a reason the nearby coaster is called “Apollo’s Chariot.” The ride is named after the chariot.
What does a group of Greco-Roman gods have to do with a ride? In my opinion, the name is just lazy. There were so many great options for themes from classical mythology. Instead we got, “fuck it, just name it after all of the gods, skip the theming, and take lunch early.”
I mean by this naming convention, the name "Alpengeist" doesn't make sense either, it should be like "Alpengeist's ski lift". I think we can overlook roller coaster naming to an extent. As long as it makes some sense, it's fine with me.There is a reason the nearby coaster is called “Apollo’s Chariot.” The ride is named after the chariot.
