I'm fully aware of the ride and it's elements and have been since it was rumored to be similar to Soaring with Dragon. If you're Kevin, you want to say four launches because that's marketing speak for a shitload of launches... Which the GP will get excited about. No one ever said "launch sections" that I've ever heard.

I thought I heard him say the train capacity was 20? That would be 900.

It is 20.

It would be really neat if, sometime in the future; after the newness of Pantheon wears off they vary up the ride experience by allowing double rollbacks.

A random (typically low attendance day) such as a Wednesday in July 2022; "today is double rollbacks Wednesday. We've turned Pantheon launch 3 down so you'll roll back the tophat twice!"

How many of us would turn up in droves?

Dang, the park should pay me for these ideas...

From today's tour

1: 36mph
2: 50mph
3: 61mph
4: 67mph

Those are the same as they gave on the first tour. This is a huge red flag regarding their claim about having "sped up" Pantheon by half a mile an hour, yeah...? We would expect the last launch speed to be slightly higher now than it was at the original announcement, no?

Perhaps it's less that they sped it up and more that some crafty marketing person realized that they could round 72.3 to 72.5 and claim to have broken a speed record.

Ummmm the footers shouldn’t be all cracked like that..right?

Think that may be an illusion; smears of "grease" and not cracks (see the closest footer).
However the top surface of that footer sure is mangled... Hold on tight!
Oh, that track color is so dookie.

It’s going to collapse with the first train that passes...it’s one of the gods powers...but in all seriousness, I’m sure it’s structurally sound. The load is dispersed through the piling into bedrock below I believe.

Hmm... First he rents a plane. Will we see a GoFundMe for a radar gun rental?

Why GoFundMe? Someone hold a golf ball on a string, I'll being my trackman, we'll get the reading. Or my radar gun from my lacrosse days, although it only see 3 figures ;)

One last thought about the media day tour.

I thought it was really weird that the ACE president was a 'stop' on the tour. I really have no positive/negative opinion of ACE as an organization; but she literally had nothing of substance to add to the tour other than "I'm super excited to ride this!"

"Any questions for me???"

Awkward silence.

Okay moving along.

She was literally the only stop with 0 questions whatsoever.

I completely agree, it was more cringe than anything. Hell, even the questions asked at the other “stops” were useless for the most part. “The ride gets up to 73 mph over there somewhere. Any questions?” - Kevin “Yeah, so what’s the top speed?” - ‘Reporter’ It’s hard to watch the videos other than to see that sexy Pantheon shaping.

So something from the BGWFans& BGW relationship thread and this that crossed over in my mind:
Watching this video, it's no wonder why BGW Marketing isn't a fan. The first 5 questions were opportunities to just repeat what they just said. Heck most of the questions were asking them to repeat talking points rather than actual in depth stuff, like why the speeds didn't match. No one questioned why the spike height was used, and I bet @Zachary or @Nicole was asked about that (I have a theory as to why that is).

So it dawned on me - they like these "media" outlets because it just gives them chances to say the same thing over and other rather than actually answer a question. And I went back to some InvadR stuff to look back, and they looked really uncomfortable answering any question that wasn't a press release sheet talking point.

That tells me maybe someone in the Marketing department needs better training.
