Does the same triple launch with an extra inversion or so, an outside overbanked turn (which will be fun), and taller with some curves. It’s nothing new just on a bigger scale. Not saying it’s gonna be bad just not crazy different and it’s not compact.
Dude, how is this anything like Tempesto? I'd take this beast of a coaster over a giga that breaks records but does nothing particularly unique or interesting any day!
GIGA refers to height/drop not elements. So when I say giga I mean I was hoping for something in the 300ft range ( it can have the same elements) that would’ve make the ride hella impressive and stand out for years instead of a year when parc asterix builds theirs. ( again my opinion)

Okay and where would you fit it?

They can’t cross over into the areas where the new pasture will be built and going across the river is very impractical.

Seriously though,

Not saying it's a giga, but we are talking about over 18 acres of land that are impacted by whatever this ride is + whatever "Madrid" / country expansion is.

I don’t think you could fit an all out giga in this area. It’s big but not giga big. The other side of the rail road is off limits right now.

Just another tidbit that I put on here earlier today....look at the document below describing the 387 feet above sea-level. What else could we be looking for??? This explicitly confirms everything.... Can anyone do the math on 387 ft - 315 ft? If you can't, it's 72ft, which is pretty darn near close to the 73 ft mentioned in the article tonight. Plus....why in the world would the spike be higher than the top hat???? The spike only get's two launches...the top hat will get three....

I recommend reading this.

Oh, I've read that. I was talking about the 18 acres of space that includes this ride + Madrid. If I said this ride covered 18 acres, everyone would jump on board and say, you're forgetting about the expansion of the country too...

You'll have to ask Intamin on that. Both similar rides they've built/designed have the same feature.

Edit-'I believe you missed counted. There's a forward launch to the top hat (T1) backwards towards the spike (S1) then down the spike launch to top hat (T2).

Where the heck is this Madrid you speak of?

Actually reading into it further, this height waiver defines EXACTLY what they are going for. "315 feet above finished grade(or 387 feet above mean sea level."
That OR is crucial....

Don't get me wrong, from a technical perspective, all these facts are important, but you are kidding yourself if you don't realize that Kings Mill owns and controls everything that happens at this park.

Haha this is so laughable. You know how much the park actually cares about what kingsmill wants? Very little. They work with them because it's the path of least resistance. If the park wanted to do something and kingsmill was against it the park would still end up doing it. The county ultimately would side with BGW because well BGW brings the tourist money into the area and the county cares more about that than Kingsmill.

You clearly haven't read that because if you had then you would realize that the Madrid expansion you speak of is this ride. There is no country or other expansion. I encourage you to read it again.

There's a lot of room on the other side of the pastures. The park owns a lot of land past Festa and the train tracks that they don't use. Same goes for behind the DF. There is plenty of room for a Giga to go over there similar to how Apollo does that.

1. Forward launch to the top hat. 2. backwards launch to the spike. 3. forwards launch to the top hat to get over it. There are three launches right there.

Be more wrong.

You said a total of 5 launches here. 3 for the top hat and 2 for the spike.

1. Forward launch to the top hat. 2. backwards launch to the spike. 3. forwards launch to the top hat to get over it. There are three launches right there.
I point you to your previous statement where you said there were 5 launches. As GrandpaD points out there are only 3 in this section. Which by the way is what you just described

Hey, thanks for retyping what I just posted.
I was correcting your claim- "Plus....why in the world would the spike be higher than the top hat???? The spike only get's two launches...the top hat will get three...."

Like I said (and you retyped) ONE launch toward the spike TWO launches toward the top hat.

And you still haven't told me where Madrid is. I need a sangria bad.

You have got to be out of your mind to believe that Kings Mill doesn't have some say into what this park does. Seriously, you have no understanding of how politics work. They have a tremendous effect on what the park can do and what the park can get accomplished. Again, over HALF of the board and city elected officials live in this community. Large, tremendous amusements don't get approved without the important, gentle, and tactful use of politics.
