Actually, the coaster will cascade through farm land, with fruit trees and corn rows. The park will then promote as becoming more self-sustainable by selling the crops from that cart in England, replacing all the plastic stuff. "Hey honey, let's grab a Busch zucchini on the way out!"

All kidding aside...I know it's been done at a few parks... If the queue were paved with "Roman" style pavers, why not let people become part of the new coaster by buying an engraved paver with proceeds going to the Conversation Fund? How cool it would be, years from now, to have your grandkids standing in line and seeing Grandpa's name.

Anybody notice the track type this coaster compared to the Parc Asterix coaster. The track for Project Madrid is the same track that I-305 uses, they’re thick almost as if they’re gonna need them for something really fast. I’m putting my money on this being a Giga shuttle launch.

Madrid's track is single spine, not double spine like i305 or Skyrush.

Not sure if this has already been covered, but under the James County Website, a valuation for the ride has been listed. $25 Million isn't a small investment for a ride....Obviously only a valuation / estimate, but something this significant would put the ride near the top 10 of all coasters....
