Point of clarification. There's no Intamin rumor as far as I know. It's a theory put forth based on what we see from the buffer plans, knowing B&M doesn't really do drops like that. It's all and educated guess.

For all we know this can be a B&M and what we are seeing going down by the river there is near the end of the ride and not at the end of the first drop.

That would be a huge first for B&M having tight footers like that.

I still think it’s Intamin but the two companies I wouldn’t count out are Mack and S&S. Either way I hope that the trains would give you that free feeling, like these trains.

Those look like budget doctors office waiting room chairs
"Open wide and say Ahhhhhwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!"

This B&M inverted going up in 2021 has some pretty tight turns. The pic on the left is the final version.

I am not saying that it can't be but the fact that B&M is doing that one in 21 kind of adds to my doubts. I think it's less likely that B&M eho is new as best as I can recall to the tight sharp drops would commit to doing two back to back without giving themselves a chance to research the success or problems with the first one. Given the filings so far I find it doubtful thasy Madrid is planned for any later then 21 if all goes according to plans. Just my two cents on the matter they might be worth nothing.

I am hoping for an abnormally large S&S reboot of the Arrow Suspended, and name it like Grande Lupo Cattivo (BBW Italian)
in Italian or something
Funny, I was thinking along the same lines. In another thread someone suggested a terrain following giga. The first thing that came to my mind was BBW zooming thru an Italian village. That large curve behind San Marco...extending the architecture somewhat...Che bello!

I was watching Coaser-nets recent video and how a lot of parks have 1 highlight ride that people go there for ex (intimidator 305, fury 352, steel vengence). Well IMO BGW does not have that. They have a bunch of decent coasters. Could they be looking for that coaster to make all these people want to come to BGW for? If so this coaster has to be massive, with the other stuff parks have now, the standards go up year by year. What would be that coaster now if they do have a signature ride, Griffon?

The signature ride - if it's not a giga or RMC - would usually be the hyper, so Apollo's Chariot fills that role.

If they had gotten Intamin to do Verbolten, it could have stood a chance of rising above the other coasters (well, not physically) and taking the "signature ride" position. Cheetah Hunt looks to be BGT's signature coaster.

I305 isn’t a highlight ride for King’s Dominion . It actually gets pretty low ridership. Others I agree.

Like if I was on a road trip to another park and I knew i was going past kings dominion and Busch, I cant think of what would be worth going into Busch for. Maybe im not like that because I have been sooo many times. But if I go past KD it would be well worth going in there and riding I305 and Twisted Timbers. Busch needs a ride like that.

I personally think it does.

Nessie.

I think that it is worth differentiating between a theme park and an amusement park.

While I would personally rather ride BGW's coasters than most others, including anything at KD; I don't think the park has historically tied itself to a single ride as its draw. I'm not saying they don't build the "biggest, fastest, tallest, whatever-est" to draw people in. But I am saying that unlike places like Carowinds, they have other -- possibly equally important -- draws for guests.

BGW and Dollywood, in my opinion, are closer to Disney and Universal on the spectrum than a traditional amusement park. The environment, theming, animals, shows, and other attractions are designed to create a cohesive package. They are not promoting themselves as the park that owns El Toro; they are telling people that they will enjoy every aspect of their Busch Gardens experience.

So, I guess my point is that I'm not sure that even if you accept the premise that neither Apollo, nor Nessie, nor Alpie "put BGW on the map" (which I don't), that it naturally follows that BGW needs a Fury-equivalent to draw in guests. It certainly isn't all that they need. (No, I am NOT saying they don't want a record-breaking, nationally-acclaimed coaster; I am saying that here is much more to their product than a great track layout.)
