Honestly, the idea that BGW's gonna be getting any water slides in the Festhaus Park seems so random and unnecessary, unless they were to have plans to move the entirety of WCUSA over to where BGW is and connect the two via a pathway in the Park, which in itself seems quite ridiculous and unnecessary.

Anyway, I'm just curious abt how BGW would place this coaster on the map. After all, just taking a look at the park map shows ya how packed the area is illustrated on there. Would they completely redraw the map with a new style or just redraw that area to fit the coaster?
Redraw the area for the coaster.

I figure they'd just redraw the area; although depending on just how big of an expansion this proves to be I could also see them finding it easier to just redraw the map from scratch. It's been a while since the park map has gotten any major overhaul, hasn't it?

We need a Know Your Meme equivalent just for ParkFans. @Connor's reference was like... Broonze Age ParkFans. Truly impressive.

If someone wishes to explain the reference for others, please do. If not, we should get back to watching @kingadam watch public record fillings or whatever it is we do in this god-forsaken thread. ?

I'm not a fan of the RMC custom giga fantasies here. Lightning Rod has been closed for months. Literally. I'd hate to see what kind of negativity that an experimental giga RMC would bring to BGW with their current shortcomings.

Note that Dollywood is likely preparing a lawsuit against RMC for Lightning Rod's troubles. As the way they've been handling the ride is specifically oriented to build a "this ride is substandard" case against RMC.

They did this exact thing against Huss a few years ago.

I find it a bit disappointing that the park wouldn't just make a B&M giga on the eastern outskirts of the park (maybe starting at the old DF station) and then add a new Spain-themed hamlet in the Festa Field that includes a 315' tall Windseeker-like ride. It'd just be more convenient for Virginians like me that don't wanna go down to Carowinds or up to Canada's Wonderland to ride a B&M giga.

Eh Fury is amazing but Busch would be better off building something more differentiated from Apollo. Which is where Intamin/Mack/S&S come in.

That kinda makes sense, but KD's already got I305 in the same state, so I just fear that BGW would look like another copycat of Cedar Fair parks.
Then again, they'd probs look like another copycat if they build a B&M giga, so maybe my point is invalid.

The way I see this RMC situation is pretty simple, I doubt that RMC wishes to endure this sort of public negativity again, so I doubt they would take a risk like building a giga unless they KNEW they could do it and it would work. They are not in a place to take risks.

That being said, I doubt RMC will do the giga for that very reason, their own decision not to take a risk, rather than BGW's inability to contact them. BGW always likes to give manufacturers a shot out of their comfort zone. Usually works out. Couple notable instances where it didn't.

Could they even make the wooden supports wide enough to hold the thing up? Seems as if they'd have difficulty fitting them in, unless they had them go over and to the other side of the train track, which there's no permit to do that.

You can definitely fit a giga in there, it would be kinda tight, but there's easily room for the supports (see my prediction video). Someone mentioned earlier that the large drop into the rhine might not even be a part of the drop (which would make it possible for B&M to design). However, when I overlayed the permit filings onto NoLimits 2 and put in the lift hill, it was an incredibly tight fit, with a pretty steep incline lift. Therefore, my conclusion is that if this puppy is gonna be hitting the 315 mark, that curve is gonna have to be coming out of the first drop, no matter which side it drops into. There just isn't enough room for a station, 315 ft lift, and drop that doesn't come into the 100 ft buffer zone. Either it's gonna be shorter, or cross the railroad tracks/extend into areas we don't have filings for yet

RMC T-Rex track is steel track and supports. Think super-sized RMC Raptor (RailBlazer at California's Great America or Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas).

If it were to be an RMC it would be a T-rex, not a woodie lol. Also I haven't really heard anything restricting the other side of the train nor crossing the Rhine.

Any possibility the coaster could be announced on September 5th with WCUSA and Screamin Swing? Like what they did with Mach Tower and Verbolten?
