Has intamin attempted another skyrush-like model anywhere else? As cool as having a giga version of it would be, why would intamin make the model again seven-eight years later?

Skyrush's seat configuration is a 1-off, but Expedition GeForce is a very similar model.

Skyrush restraints will ruin it for me. Give me the Maverick / Intimidator 305 soft vests (if the Millennium Force T-bar isn't possible).

(Does Cheetah Hunt still use the hard Kingda Ka OTSRs?)
NO NO NO NO NO NO. No OTSRs. Use the Taron lap bars.

And for those who haven’t seen it in person Skyrush is very photogenic. The turn at the end of the drop is amazing. Ride experience is somewhere between the forces of I305 and the airtime of Apollo. Still ranks as my number one....even over Fury.
Did you just say that skyrush's airtime is like apollo??!!!!

Looked up Taron - those restraints look an awful lot like Skyrush's. Maybe Taron doesn't deliver the positives that Skyrush does, which leads to the absolute thigh crushing?

As I said, Millennium Force's T-shaped lap bar (or Superman: Ride of Steel's lap bars with shin restraints, I forgot those) would be the best. But of course, that assumes a ride with only moderate intensity and more drawn-out elements.

I hate Intamin t-bars (Millennium Force/Superman: Ride of Steel). They are super uncomfortable on my thighs and, especially, my ankles. Conversely, unlike many people, Skyrush's restraints didn't give me any problems. I actually find them more comfortable than RMC restraints.

Intamin's soft vests (i305/Maverick) are, far and away, my favorite. I don't get any neck chopping like I do on Intamin's hard OSTRs (i305 at Opening/Cheetah Hunt), but they also still don't really clamp my thighs so that I can feel the full effect of the airtime.

All that said, the most recent case study for what Intamin might offer BGW would probably be Hyperion at Energylandia. As far as I can tell it runs trains very similar to Skyrush and Flying Aces, but the "wing seats" keep their floor.

Odds we have the Giovanola resurrection and Intamin and B&M work together for the first time since the splits and we get an Intamin intensity with B&M clam shell restraints and smooooothness

Taron’s lap bars are different from Skyrush’s. They are designed to be far more comfortable on the lap and thighs.

No, but it has good airtime. The point was Skyrush's experience is somewhere between I-305 and Apollo. SR get's too much unnecessary hate because of the restraints. But even in the early days, I've never had a problem with them.

The issue with Skyrush's restraints is where the hinge point is. Because of the wing seats they had to develop a new spot to put the hinge of the restraints, per Hershey's request. They didn't want any OTSR's because they really wanted the open feeling with the wing seats. They couldn't put the hinge under the seat for many many reasons, safety at the top of the list. So they had to pull it over your shoulders. Because of the forces of the ride, and the angle at which the restraint comes down, engineering a lap bar that secured you in, but at the same time was comfortable for all sizes, was a near impossibility.

When the foam was replace with something softer, Intamin did suggest if they moved to the soft vest, they could make a much better lap bar, but again Hershey was against that to give the free and open feeling.

So the Skyrush restraint problem is a little but of a 'on both sides' issues. If Hershey gave in, you could have round restraints on the lap bar part, which fits a larger number of people. If Intamin worked on a way to have that hinge point under the seat, they could have delivered what Hershey was really looking for. It's very difficult to design a lap bar coming from over the top that will fit those of us with bigger thighs and mid sections, AND people with smaller thighs and midsections at the same time.

I personally think Skyrush has some of the most intense ejector airtime out there

I tend to approach that idea a bit differently: Why wouldn't they design and fabricate a larger one years later, for a customer who specifically wanted it and had money in hand?

With that said, I'm not going to speculate on who the ride supplier actually will be in this case...

FHP could also be used for animal pastures.
I want to reiterate this. Festhaus Park would be viable as a replacement for Festa Field. Although it was home to a roller coaster in the past, it is not an ideal location for a roller coaster with it being nearly invisible from the main path. The amount of space back there would be perfect for new pastures. The already bring the sheep into Verbolten's area for grazing so it does appear that they would have any issues herding or transporting the animals back there. There is also the real possibility that the animals may just be grazing down below around footers with a coaster is flying by over their heads.
