Yeah those meetings where they decide what capital assets to purchase for their properties probably don't have sentences like "Oh man an RMC on the hill would be soooo cool it would have so much airtime." "Totally that would be so much cooler than a lame S&S Free Spin." "Dude lets build a B&M Giga like Fury 325 the enthusiasts would love that." It's more like "I believe an S&S Free Spin/Premier Sky Rocket II would increase attendance by 2% for a relatively low cost." "I agree that could increase revenues at this property by reasonable margin to be worth the cost."
I don't know...I could see all of these statements being made at those meetings...the former made by the buyers and the latter made by the finance people who are there to burst everyone else's bubble. :)

I don’t know anyone who likes the free spins. People avoid Joker like the plague at Great Adventure.
The Queue for that ride strongly disagrees with you. Granted they don't have the best throughput but still.

Honestly It could be that the park got approval for such a height for a number of reasons. seeing how the project is so far out, perhaps they got preliminary approval in order to weigh their options.

Accountants...
All I want is for them to arrive at 9am with their green visors, and that their debits match their credits by 3pm with they turn off their lights.

Something got me thinking. Does anyone have the slightest clue as to what attractions to expect in the Spain expansion?

Odds they will add a new dark ride? They have to know they are in need after the rude removal of DK and the transition to VR in the sim building, since a lot in the industry don't consider VR a "dark ride"

I have seen nothing that convinces me that there is going to be s Spain hamlet. As for a new dark ride I think that it is more likely that DK would be repurposed for that.

We have indexed all of the credible reporting in this post.

BGWFans also has an article, which Zachary updates as we get new information. It should be back online soon.

Apparently SeaWorld is doing better now. Foreshadow for 2020?

SeaWorld's financials show the opposite of Cedar Fair/ Six Flags, about a 2-3% increase over the first quarter

Previous post cropped oddly.

Edit: Note this is quarter one, quarter two should be posted shortly by SeaWorld since we are in transition between quarters
(They all release about the same time)

Apologies for essentially spamming, but I do find it interesting how much lower the average SeaWorld per capital in park spending is compared to other parks. I wonder what causes this? Is it because a SeaWorld park doesn't have a ton to keep someone there all day with stuff to do, whereas Cedar Point requires a lot of time (and therefore money to spend on food and stuffs) to get through everything?

It's interesting to me, since that seems to be an area where major improvement can be made comparatively.

But so much factors into in park spending that I can really give much input since I don't have all the knowledge so

I still think they’re gonna Geauga one of the two smaller SeaWorld parks.

I also find it interesting that Cedar Fair saw two major hyped up RMC additions, but their attendance is still lower. If not for Steel Vengeance and Twisted Timbers Cedar Fair could've seen absimal numbers.

I really wonder what happened this season.

Oh well we have gotten far enough off topic

That has never been my experience at any SeaWorld park. In fact, I can never finish everything at BGT in one day.

I guess if you are only interested in one component of the park (rides, shows, or animals) you could run out of things to do. For me, however, as someone who loathes shows, I get a full day just from the animals and rides.

Regardless, as Ice729 said, this thread has been completely derailed. Let's please get back to discussing Project Madrid.

So if Madrid is a roller coaster what kind do you see a fit? You can consider the height permit or not.

I read through a lot of what is in the index, and I'm just curious myself what the leading speculation is? Since the index is all we know, what are the top personal speculations that way we don't all have to read through 87 pages of forum
