RE: Project Madrid: New Hamlet? Giga Coaster? 315' Tower?
Oops, good catch. Meant to specify the back half of Festa. Apollo typically is a "cross the bridge, ride it, cross the bridge in the other direction" attraction for me, and I know I'm not the only one. Beyond the Apollo/Tempesto area is a lackluster restaurant, highly seasonal rapids ride, the smallest and most unimproved train station in the park, some rides that I enjoy but don't really go out of my way for, etc. It all just feels like lost opportunity back there.
Drawing crowds to the back of Festa -- or at least through it en route to some another noteworthy full-season attraction -- would be smart.

I think it could be a possibility. Rapids rides really only see peak ridership on hot days in the middle of the day, are a beast to keep up, and cost more than they are worth.
I think the last time I rode Roman Rapids was 1997 or so.
Festa really could use an anchor attraction that runs throughout the season.
BGW does not exactly have a surplus of water rides... but personally I would not miss RR if it went away.
Uhhhh.....Apollo says hello.
